Not a chance Ford is alive because it ruins the emotional conclusion to his story last season, IMO. His suicide mirrored his friend Arnold who he missed so much that he created a replacement for him.

I dont thin we will see ANthony HOpkins in anything other than a flashback scene BUT That whole family that Ford had created still lives I think they are going to be the hosts that represent him We saw William kill the boy already but Im pretty sure the rest of that family is still out there and who knows how many other hosts Ford made with his brain and dna

I think it would make more sense for him to appear at a point and time beyond season 2.

I dont think we will See Anthony Hopkins in season 2 . They likely only got Hopkins for the one season like Sean Bean in Thrones but my guess is though that Ford could Appear But Ford mind in in another Body that we assume is Human.

If we see Ford alive and well I'll be very disappointed. It would negate the cognitive dissonance arch of the first season, which would cheapen the reckoning since Ford would still be in charge of the story.

Going into this episode I would have said flashback-only because it seems the reasonable place to encounter Ford. But after the interaction with Young Ford I feel like we've been informed of something that's going to pay off later. I suspect both Arnold and Ford are still "alive" in the park in more than one sense, but we'll see! Maybe that inter-host meshnet is related. Also I know where Eric is coming from, I'm drawing on all my experience in fiction to not "get got" this season by plot twists. They're gonna get us anyhow, but we have to try.

We haven't seen any host that has "decayed" like a human body. The tiger just looked like wet matted fur that was also dirty but there was no real decay.

The hosts while looking fleshy are still not made of human tissue. Maggots would have no use for fake sustenance. Unless you are going to tell me they are robots too and someone hand placed them on the hosts face.

This episode killed him physically and in host form. The Ford we know is gone for good. I suspect we will see him in the flashbacks for the forming of the park after Arnolds death and nothing more. Sorry Reddit, the writers dont give a shit!
