I think he will. His actions and behavior the last couple of episodes show as someone who has become desperate in trying to maintain this persona he has built for other people to see. His agression and loss of patience will make him dangerous and eradicate but I think it will be his undoing. From the way it seems, Anatoly will take over from the chaos and is only using the situation between Diaz and Oliver to put himself in a position to take over all the resources so that he can go back and take the Bratva by force

i don't think he will die, Oliver has been constantly berated for his kills so he isn't going to kill Diaz, and I don't see anyone other than him taking Diaz down. Black Siren might die, kind of like how Wells dies or changes every season in the flash and another black canary shows up. He'll likely be taken into ARGUS custody like Slade was then either escape in a season or two or be forgotten about.

I voted yes but it's also raises the question of who will be next season's villain. They're supposed to raise the bar higher with each season making the main villain more and more threatening each year. I believe Diaz is a good actor/character to keep around just as Black Siren, but I do not believe his level of threat to Oliver and team Arrow as a main villain should raise any higher then it is now. Unfortunately, since they've already raised the bar so high for Diaz I don't see how he makes it into next season as anything else but a continuous Main villain which as I said I doubt happens. We need a new big bad.

It could go either way, but I think it would more satisfying to see him not die, but see his power over the city be crippled, to the point where he can actually be arrested. It's also realistic that Diaz makes too many enimies and dies from betrayal.

Honestly he'll probably end up dying in his hurry/rage to kill Oliver by not fully thinking his plans though...

I do feel like Diaz is going to die, but it may not be at the hands of Oliver. Also, I don't know if you realized it during the episode, but the one lawyer is the same actress who plays general Hale on Agents of SHIELD

I feel like the writers took a lot of easy, sometimes formulaic, approaches to the story of this season so I would be surprised if they changed things up in the finale and let him live

Here’s the thing; he’s a bland, poorly written and unthreatening villain. The actor does a great job elevating the material. There’s really no reason Oliver should have more trouble with him than he did Rhas or Merlin or Dark or Slade or Chase. Diaz doesn’t even compare. I don’t think he’ll die but he really shouldn’t stick around.

Just a bonus thought - to make the scene with Rene, Diaz and his daughter more logical, Diaz could've walked in with just Zoe's backpack. It doesn't look too weird but still gets the message across to Rene.

I hope so haven't taken him seriously as well on this whole season but on a side note for weeks ive been saying why doesn't black siren just scream this man's face off and then it happens and she was so damn close! easily one of the best Laruel moments in a very long time

No, I think that in order to save/take back the city he needs to expose Diaz and his network. Killing him wouldn't solve the corruption problem, it would just send things into chaos.

I'd very much like to see Siren pop his head like a grape but I have a feeling he's gonna be around a while.

I hope not. In the comics he has a much more interesting backstory, so I'd like them to explore that but it's too late for this season. Also all the big villains except Slade are dead.
