Legends of Tomorrow 2x10 Poll!

In the future, in the post flashpoint timeline they are now in, Thawne will still be born (unless theyve changed enough to stop that happening). He can still become Reverse-Flash, go back in time looking for pre-powers Barry or his parents to kill them. He gets there to discover she's already been killed, or perhaps even witnesses it from cover much like Barry did in the season 1 finale. Then has the same problem getting back to the future as season 1 Reverse-Flash did, so events play out the same way. Meanwhile flashpoint Reverse-Flash and Barry travel back to 2016 and begin season 3 in the now slightly altered timeline.

The writers wrote themselves into a hole and didn't have a way out. But with the Spear of Destiny, they'll probably deus ex machina Reverse Flash back into Wells so the events of Season One can still take place. Or they just didn't think about it and we're all overthinking it.

I feel like it's something similar to what happened to Barry when he stayed in Flashpoint. The more he messed with the Speed Force (by using his speed) the more it affected his memories, or his time. The more Eobard uses his speed, the more he signals that there is an actual disturbance in the force (S/o to george Lucas last episode). Black Flash, thanks to the time wraiths, is probably more connected to the speed force now (and time) than Barry or Eobard so Eobard's existence is like a tub of blood to a shark. At least, that's what it's looking like to me. And Barry took him from the timeline for 3 months so there's got to be something up there.

When Barry pulled Reverse Flash out of the house to create Flashpoint, it erased the Reverse Flash that was the villain of Season 1 and created a new Reverse Flash who never lost his speed, never copied Harrison Wells, and was Barry's prisoner in Flashpoint-2016. Then Barry undid Flashpoint, restoring the Season 1 Reverse Flash. Flashpoint Reverse Flash should have been erased, but he's been using his speedster powers to prevent that--but that's caused Black Flash to chase him. So now he's searching for the Spear of Destiny to change reality so that he can keep existing/stop running/escape Black Flash permanently. tl;dr: The regular timeline Reverse Flash is the villain of Flash Season 1, the Flashpoint Reverse Flash is the villain of Legends Season 2.

When berry messed with time and caused flashpoint he inadvertently made that reverse flash as a time remnant. So the time remnant is in legends of tomorrow and the other reverse flash went on to make season 1 of the flash possible.

If there is another "time aberration" RF impersonating Wells, then that version should theoretically be safe from Black Flash, because he lost his connection to the speed force. - Now, can Barry change the future so much that it attracts Black Flash? Could Black Flash take out Savitar?

has anyone thought the black flash is barrys or zooms time remnant. i mean creating one is like a mini time aperations and you tectnial kill old version or younger version, but what is a time remant upon death seek to live and to do so has to kill and take the spead force from someone else , mainly from someone out of place like thwane. thworn is alive cause time hasn't caught up with him yet and cause he still has a role to play on time, kill barrys mom which is the last moment, but he excaped it and ends up with the black flash after him. he need the spear to continue along the timeline and exist

Also during that missing time, Hour-Man disrupted Eobard's plans in some way that caused Thawne to kill him before he could. Hence, why Hour-Man disappeared while trying to warn the Legends about their future.

I think Thawne is creating his own Flashpoint here. Reverse Flashpoint if you will. There is something that stuck with me since episode 1 of The Flash this season. Thawne dropped Barry of at Joe's doorstep. He shouldn't have been able to do that since he killed Barry's Mom and then should have been stuck in S1 of The Flash. We saw S1 & S2 happening during the final montage of that episode. Instead of being stuck Thawne went to the future and dropped Barry off. Inbetween the events that led up to Nora Allen's dead and Barry being dropped off, something happened so that Thawne could escape his faith. I hope we get a reveal what happened in a future episode

The reason why eobard thawne is still alive even though he was erased from existence is because he was pulled from the timeline by barry when he created flashpoint and even after barry reset the timeline eobard still lives outside of time because the eobard thawne from the 2024 timeline still kills barrys mother and get stranded which is what leads to the events of season one. You have to rememebr that the thawne we see in LoT is an eobard thawne from the new 2014 timeline in where barry gets his powers in 2014 instead of 2020. one proof of this is in season 2 where we see the version of eobard that didnt kill barry mom. Thats the eobard thawne from the new timeline where barry gets his powers in 2014. You hve to think of it as time trying to correct itself to have events happen the way it did in the 2024 timeline. Becuse in the 2024 timeline eobard does the same thing he did in season 2 except not in 2016 because his barry did not get his powers until 2020. So now going to to season 2 finale the eobard thats about to kill barrys mom is the new timelines version of eobard and he was stopped by barry.Now if he was to kill barry mom in the exact way that 2024 eobard did then he wouldve followed in the same fate as that thawne. But because he was pulled out the timeline he doesnt share that fate. And everything from season one will still happen because the 2024 eobard already has killed nora allen and that will never change. Hopefully someone understands this lol.

The way patreon works is that you pay for each month (not 30 days from when you pledged). I think that Legends RF is a copy of the Flash season 1 RF. My reasoning: Eddie killed himself -->RF is never born -->everything he did from the point he was born is erased. BUT, everything RF may have interacted with BEFORE he was born remains unchanged (hence why Barry's mother was still dead). So, Legends RF is running from BF because that stuff in the past has already happened, which means he isn't supposed to exist anymore, which is where BF comes in. In simple terms, the Legends RF was supposed to stay in that bubble of time (Flash s1) where he still exists, but because he left, he upset the speed force, which then sent BF as a kind of speedster bounty hunter.

My understanding of it is this. The time wraiths are like police they stop speedsters from messing with time. Black Flash is more like the grim reaper and chases after speedsters who are trying to avoid death, which is what Zolomon kept trying to do. As for Thawn like Barry he is from the original timeline. When he was brought to the new timeline he started getting chased by Black Flash because the version of him from the new timeline was already dead and so he's not supposed to exist.

Maybe this Eobard Thawne isn't so much out of a time as he is in the wrong universe. He could be considered and alternate version of the Season 1 Reverse Flash given what Barry did with him during Flashpoint.

Maybe Eobard is still going to return to that night and get stuck. Maybe that's what Black Flash is trying to do. If the Black Flash catches the Reverse Flash it will drop him in that night without his powers in order to recreate the timeline. That's my theory on how this season will end.

An out there THEROY:RF is a copy that isn't a time aboration so much as a temporary band-aid the speed force created to keep the timeline going while it's been dealing with the Barry's timeline. Thawne was only meant to exist until the timeline cemented back down but because of Flashpoint, Thawne was again out of his timeline. So the speed force, still trying to fix Barry's timeline, is using its newly acquired Black Flash to take Thawne back into the speed force.

What if after the events of flashpoint and reverse flash went back to the night that barrys mom died. Killed her again but the one that got knocked out by flash from season 2 returned to the events of season 1 and was the original harrison wells. I think this becausewhen they went back to that night there was essentially 2 flashes and 2 reverse flashes. The reverse flash we see in legends could be from the new timeline that barry created when he made flashpoint.

We need Doctor Who to travel to this universe to explain every rule, especially the differences between "The Flash" speedster rules and "Legends of Tomorrow" legend rules.

He is a time abberation because Barry kept him in "Flashpoint" and was released. So he wants the spear to rewrite the fact that Eddy killed himself to save himself from being erased completely. Which would get Black Flash off his ass most likely. One of the best episode! They find out it's the Reverse Flash and Black Flash comes in to the fold! I could not wait for this reaction!!!
