Avatar TLA 3x17 Reaction Early Access!

Avatar TLA 3x17 Reaction Early Access!

Comments

The early reaction is still in effect until they post their next reaction technically. So..you have 3 days. Relax man. Who cares if it's a few hours late? You never know if they're having uploading issues or editing it. They just posted this reaction on their youtube less than an hour ago, try not to jump the gun, eh?

Allison Cornell

I literally only became a $5 patron for the Avatar early reactions.... where is the next one?

RJ Jackson

WHERE IS THE NEXT REACTION

Need... Avatar.... Reactions

Keep It Zen

I know lots of people who, like me, dislike Korra because it was just an inferior successor to a great show, as well as not needing to exist. But to each their own I guess.

AlexXis Amadeus

Get louder speakers and pay attention to the details, music numbers and choreography. This show is a masterpiece.

Anthony Dimas

I know people who are fans of the original and hated Korra because it wasn't EXACTLY like Avatar. I love both series and hope they enjoy it too!

Raven McShan

Watch the credits for the final episode because the music is epic and gives the feels :D

Herberderber

I mean, they are still at war and death is a very real thing at every turn for them so it's understandable why she would be confused ...especially when it comes to a romance that could end tragically at any time

Lalisa Truong

No spoilers, but it always seemed to me that beneath the surface Katara was very afraid that they would lose to the Fire Nation. She was so used to them taking away everything she truly cared about. Every time she truly opened up to someone, she was exposing herself to the threat of that pain again. You can see this in her relationships to both Aang and Zuko, and I think that's why she told Aang she was confused. It's deeply difficult for her to even ask herself what her feelings are and confront them.

EldrinJak

Wow the end is near so sad... 😞

Etty Gafa

That map contains massive spoilers for the finale, please remove that.

huloca

Great reaction, guys. I love this episode! Can't wait for the finale. SO much happens!

fork

Calvin has the best stone face ever. I think he does a great job of not spoilering anything.

fork

That was not the right time...

Andrew Reise

Bittersweet almost at the end

Andrew Garcia

Record/React the finale once, Release separately over 2 Weeks

Sam Kemp

As requested, not a direct answer. But consider this: it's already been said/shown that the Avatar follows a reincarnation cycle. So whether Aang dies at the end of this series or a long time afterwards, either way there's room for a sequel just as easily as a prequel.

TheUndeadFish

This is the only episode from both shows i genuinely don't like

William Beasley

The RWBY fanbase is probably one of the worst when it comes to ships

DevilJynx

I'm gonna miss these reactions. But all good things must come to an end, and it's been an amazing time. Love this episode, and nice to have something to laugh about. Looking forward to the finale. And then of course, Korra, even though I would personally take a break in between. But if they guys want to jump right on ahead, that's their choice. :) But finale is going to be awesome either way.

JojoInSpace

I always find it interesting when groups talk about shipping. People can get pretty passionate and convinced about it, but it really is in the eye of the beholder. As the grinch says, "one man's toxic waste is another man's potpourri." Hahaha

justsomepancakes

The "review" Team Avatar gives for the play is basically the same for the movie, haha.

the face calvin makes when he knows something the other guys don't is my fave

Guys did you Know that this was comentary on m night shyamalan's last airbender that was going to come out - the creators were pissed they didn'tget to do it !

Karston James

Now that u guys are at the end can u watch the honest trailer for the movie that is the equivalent of the horrible dbz movie 😂😂

I can't believe you guys are finally at the series finale. It's so exciting and sad at the same time.

well in the beginning they say the name of the playwright and how he got all his information. he interviewed all these side characters like the cabbage merchant and he just filled in the blanks

rickie woodson

didnt know people hate the great divide so much. as always im an island on my own cause i loved it

rickie woodson

This is so meta.

Mina

https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8351/8306408148_056c8149c4_o.jpg - Interesting map is interesting if you want to know where they were on the map each episode. (:

mynamajeff

my favorite of the comidic episodes. tears of laughter everytime. so funny how they got everyone down pack but so off on the little details of events. love it

rickie woodson

Speaking of which, you guys should definitely do something with the movie after the finale, and/or The Cinema Sins, Honest Trailer, and Nostalgia Critic Reveiw.

Brendan Horn

I'm pretty sure it's a popular fan theory that this episode is also the writers making fun of how badly the M Night Shatupon movie adapted the story of the show, especially the ending with all the characters comments after the play was over, "The effects were decent though."

Brendan Horn

No, he is not.

Ever Beltran

It is true that Korra has a different tone and feel to it. I believe that these guys are accepting enough that they should be able to jump right into it though. I know Simon had some trouble with the shift, as have some other reactors, but I think that having 4 people and watching so many different shows at the same time has conditioned these guys to be able to switch gears for different shows. As long as these guys remember that Korra is different, they should be fine in my opinion.

Jake Rush

No he hasnt

Jake Rush

Can't wait until they get to the final battle

Kris

Gonna miss these reactions. Its really ending :(

Weiss Schnee

The Playwright is the Cabbage Merchant.

Nicholas & Heather

This episode is so meta. "Did Jet just die?" "It was kind of unclear"

Now that you guys are approaching the end of the series. I would suggest that you guys take a few weeks before jumping into The Legend of Korra. It's a very different show in tone and storytelling format, it can be a little jarring. If that's not possible, It's REALLY important to understand that it's a different show and it stands on its own from the Last Airbender. Both are awesome.

slvr572

Don't forget about Mai, who sacrificed herself because of her love for Zuko lol. So there are more options than just Toph and Katara. Ty Lee also has the hots for Sokka!

Voreni

Okay, NOBODY ANSWER THIS: I haven't seen Korra yet, and I don't know if it's a prequel or a sequel to this series. But if it's a SEQUEL, I wonder if that means that Aang (and maybe some of the other characters, side or main) will die in the finale... (I never got to finish ATLA, so I'm super stoked to see this finale. Again, please don't answer that, I'm just thinking aloud, lolol)

Sky Sirak

Katara and Zuko (Zutara) was a fan ship the writers acknowledged in the play lol. This episode reminds me of the GoT play that Arya saw.

Jude Miller

Has Calvin saw legend of korra

Juniper

The last airbender movie was released long after the whole show was completed.

slvr572

Very excited for this.

One of my favorite aspects of this episode is seeing the stagecraft, with the black-clad 'ninjas' working the special effects, and the moment when 'Aang' peeks to grab the lighting ribbon :D

Bob Karcher

The end is near and I am NOT ready

elif

"...But the effects were decent" So, not only were they being self-aware about the show throughout the whole episode... but they added those last lines in to joke about that shitty Last Airbender movie M. Night Shamalamadingdong made. FUCKING SAVAGE

AlexXis Amadeus

Oh YES the meta episode

Zeemod

Yay I was just about to watch the fma video now the avatar video is up... now the real question is do I want to cry or laugh?

Breanna
