I'm so excited for more Who!

Adele

Loved your reaction to doctor Who, keep it up by the way Your expert from doctor Who past Should have told you about the Time Lords seeing all of Time and storing that in every tardis for all Time Lords .

StevenBrown

That is very true. I didn't think about that. Thanks!

Nicholas

This is a good episode too. The side character I like the most in this episode was the tree lady and I was sad with what happened to her. Her interaction with the Doctor was really intriguing the 1st time I saw this episode and especially now that I know what happens in the future. There are plenty great episodes coming up and I can't wait for you guys to watch them. I loved the reaction and I can't wait for the next one. :-) <3

Supermonaman

The sound and echo issues is because there in a bigger space and will take time too get everything set up to sound back too normal and Dr Who is an older series were audio is likely not as crisp as modern shows.

Skeletor

I don't know for sure but it may have been deliberate. If youtubers get a copyright strike on a video theyll often flip/fade the image or distort the sound to throw off the software that detects it.

Ian Blackburn

The sound quality was really weird. It was both low and had a weird digital echo. Not sure if that was just me

Nicholas

I've been replying on every tweet and no answer. Really annoying me now.

Jason Jeffory

young justice?

Van Dang

i was gunna say, lol you can't explain or try to think about this time travel like flash or legends tbh i think those 2 shows ruin shows like this, like the 10 doctor says its wibleywobley timey wimey

Colt Baudoux

It's funny because they are trying to make sense of the Time Travel in Doctor Who. I love this show, but you just have to accept that it doesn't make sense at all. It's essentially whatever the plot needs to ratchet up the tension. haha

Anthony Wickizer

An easy answer for how does he know that this shouldn't happen... He can travel through time, no matter when he is originally, from who's to say he didn't just spend enough time at or after this point in time that he learned what happened in a version of the time-line?

Kevin Bartelen

I've never had a friend watch this show with me, or allow me the privilege of reacting to their reaction to a first time watching of the show. Now that I've seen them finish two episodes of the show, I can't help but feel jittery about it. They have soooo far to go. There are so many things I want to say, but I didn't want the show spoiled for me, so I won't spoil it for them. Either way, I truly cannot wait for them to get further and further with this show. One episode a week might just kill me though. :/

Ah, questions about how time travel works and how something can happen contrary to what the Doctor knows of history. These all have a simple answer which requires no spoilers: you know how Star Wars has a firmly defined and established canon with a strict hierarchy of what to do when sources contradict each other? Doctor Who is the opposite of that. Everything is canon, continuity is a myth, the rules change, and the points mean nothing. The result is that Doctor Who is a lot harder to make a Wiki for, but it's also a lot more room to play in.

I can barely hear anything that the characters are saying. Hope you guys will sort out the audio soon.

*boys* god that's a bad song/vid!

as the boy like Billie Piper, here is where she started, way back when

I was on the fence all the way through their 'Avatar' watchthrough, but this did it for me. Doctor Who made me take the leap and become a $5 Blind Wave Patron.

The trouble with recorded history is that it very often has little to do with what really happened. Time Lord is often used as a race name, but is also a very specific title. You can be the first without being the second. (I'm trying very hard to keep this free of Spoilers)...

When you all sang tainted love I died from laughter good job on the reaction guys keep it up

Doctorwhoinfinity (Dor Cohen)

Also, Time Lords look like humans. (That's not a spoiler, Calvin, you *can* answer these basic questions. πŸ˜†)

Scribbles

yep only a week in and spoilers already :( please everyone you know how great the show is and the crew's policy on spoilers, please don't ruin our chance to see true blind reactions, nothing worse than knowing what is coming, better to have that wow moment seeing something without knowing it's coming, as shannon says there is a dedicated spoiler channel so lets keep patreon at least clean of spoilers, please and thank you.

Mick Stewart

This isn't a spoiler, just a basic fact of the temporal science of the show's universe: There are certain points in history that you don't mess with. Major points in established history, crossing your own timeline in order to go back and fix something you messed up, that sort of thing. So as not to spoil anything, let me go back to something that happened in Classic Who, and not even on TV, but in the audios. A girl named Charley Pollard had stowed away on the airship R-101 in 1930, who's first big flight ended in a disaster akin to the sinking of the Titanic. According to Doctor Who history, nobody survived the crash (though in real history about four or five people survived, but that's besides the point), but the Eighth Doctor couldn't bring himself to leave her to die, despite knowing what could happen. Long, LONG story short, him saving her nearly destroyed the universe.

Scribbles

upgraded my pledge especially for this

PSA: Please refrain from spoilers. Go to the Doctor Who channel on discord for discussion

I'm spying into the future and I can see many many conversations about the logic of time travel in Doctor Who coming up. I can't wait. :D I love that there's so much for you to talk about here, and all your theories. Lots of laughs from this reaction, that's always fun. Cheered me up today. These first few episodes here are very funny most of them. Charming, again, is a good word to use. Looking forward to next week!

JojoInSpace

The show does explain it later anyway, though I don't remember how much you need to wait for that...

Christian MH

Whenever Shane questions why the Doctor doesn't know and fix everything, I just want Calvin or Aaron to explain the concept of fixed points and events in time and that others flux lol I don't think that is a spoiler
