I feel like I keep repeating myself, but I'm absolutely LOVING the discussions you guys have on this show, and we're only three episodes in! :D You seem to have so much fun with it, even the occasional cheesy-ness, it's really making me relive when I started watching Doctor Who and how much fun that was. This is a really nice one-off episode, and I really enjoy when they go and meet historical figures. I'm looking forward to you guys getting even deeper into this show. Gonna be a wild ride.

i have never watched Dr. who before but been watching these. i may pick it up when it stop looking so cheesy. basically when the doctor gets funding.

Looking back on this episode after I have really gotten into Doctor Who this is a really enjoyable episode. The thing I love the most about this episode is Charles Dickens involvement. Also the great moment of telling him how long his art will last. I loved the reaction and I can't wait for the next one. :-) <3

Just some fun information. The Doctor did fix the Chameleon Circuit in his sixth incarnation, but he got so frustrated with it changing into random things and not knowing where the door was he broke it on purpose to change it back into a police box.

Spoilers: Yeah I'm pretty sure you learn that in the Matt Smith episode where the Tardis gets transported into that womans body and he is able to talk to "her".

I have been waiting all day for this. why did I not get a notification? I just came to check just in case and now I find it is has been up for almost an hour

Should they know that the Tardis itself a lot of times, leads the Doctor around where he is needed or needs to be? I don't remember when you learn that but I think is really late in the series...

In answer to the Cardiff bit, Cardiff is the capital of Wales and doesn't have the best reputation as far as cities int he UK go so Rose got disappointed because of Cardiff's somewhat bad reputation. Its mostly just a kinda meh city its got quite good stuff in it but you don't get super excited to head there. Also during days when the Rugby's on the streets are very crowded and there's a lot of drunk people. So yeah Rose was a bit let down because it was Cardiff although due to Doctor Who and its spin-offs being produced mostly by BBC Wales its kinda made the city pretty good to go on holiday too due to the influx of fans and money from the filming.
