Young Justice 1x17 Reaction Early Access!

This was one of my least favorite episodes mixed with some of my favorite scenes. They added the Dimension X kids purely to try and sell toys. But the therapy sessions were amazing. It's a central part of Dick's character to not want to grow up to be like batman and I liked that they show uses that to add some character depth. Most sidekicks- sorry, partners wish to become like their mentors but not Dick, the first sidekick in comic book history.

Dick Grayson as Batman is something that is woefully unexplored outside of comics. That's an avenue I hope they go down in the DCEU with Batffleck being older than previous incarnations.

I'm surprised Eric hasn't recognized Black Canarys voice yet. He's always on point with that. But she has the same Voice Actress as Hera from Star Wars Rebels.

I agree! One of the things I love about YJ (and Avatar, for that matter) is the idea that actions have consequences.

I think Shane was talking about Falling Skies, that show was amazing . If you haven't seen it I highly recommend giving it a watch.

The show Shane was talking about is called Falling Skies, with the alien kidnapping kids. The show went for 5 seasons.

The whole thing with New Genesis and Apocalypse is that they were at war with New Genesis having superior technology and Apocalypse having more fighters. This caused a stalemate and so a treaty was signed saying that Apocalypse wouldn't go near New Genesis or Earth and in return New Genesis would stay out of Apocalyptan affairs(a nice way of saying we won't stop you from enslaving other planets). As part of signing the treaty Darkside and Highfather had to trade sons each raising the others son.

it was really nice to see the trauma from failsafe being legitimized and taken seriously, it could have been really easy to just make it a fully self contained episode but it was handled very realistically. robin and conner's testimonials stuck out to me especially
