2017-05-21 18:41:39 +0000 UTCIt's explained poorly in this episode, because Ling isn't an Alchehestrist and doesn't know the specifics, but Alchemy and Alchehestry are NOT the same thing. They don't follow the same rules. So the Avatar comparison doesn't work.

2017-05-21 15:40:44 +0000 UTCWhat do you mean I've been waiting for this all weekend... That's not at all how it is... A bit of a slower episode, with a lot of introduction to new stuff (+new OP and ED), and it does feel like there's been a break between this and last episode, but I think that has to do with that they caught up with where the original anime broke away from the source material, so they can FINALLY start to slow down a bit. Which following on the high-intensity that was last episode does make for a bit of an awkward cut, but hey, new characters (AND A PANDA) and story beats and we're only just getting started! Besides, some comedy was probably needed, and it seemed like you guys had fun with it, even if there wasn't much to discuss afterwards (and I'm still living off the amazing discussion you guys had last week). But I'll stay with what I said then and say that from here on out, I'm literally looking forward to every single episode.
