They haven't missed any the post-credits scenes so far, they already watched the ones for episodes 6 and 8, and there isn't a new one until episode 28. :P

I mean, that being said, the reaction to Alicia saying Daddy, while being a sad moment, kind of made me laugh this time around because of the synchronized reaction of "fuck you show".

Fell asleep really early yesterday, so missed all the audio and visual issues. Yay. :D The scene with Winry and the apple pie makes me tear up every time, but my reaction to Alicia shouting "Daddy!" is about the same as the crew, as in "NO STOP KICKING ME I'M ALREADY DOWN" and then it just keeps going. Also YAY RHOP! Clearing up all the difficult spelling. That can actually help a lot sometime, to have someone who's watched the show join in, even though I love these episodes even when it's just the guys as well. Nice editing! Not a lot to discuss this episode, since it's mostly just the emotional pay-off for Hughes' death. Still, the reaction were great (as in, we apparently all like seeing you in pain), and the discussion with Rhop at the end was a lot of fun (well, I say fun. It was mostly sad. But in this case, that means fun). We have a lot of episodes coming up now that I really can't wait for. It's gonna be really interesting to see the guys go through this.

As others have mentioned, Bradley's first name is "King". Amestris is a very militarized state, so the Fuehrer is both the political leader and commander-in-chief.

Over all,as much as I love this episode, the way this arc is structured in the anime is kind of off. It feels kind of weird to me that they find out about Hughes' death literally right after Mustang lies to them, whereas the reveal in the mangais a litle later on and feels more organic.

Exactly. You see a whole lot of death in anime, you don't see a whole lot of funerals. Deaths of characters like Hughes or Nina are not swept under the rug and forgotten about.

What I really like about FMA is that death is always handled with respect and heavy repercussions. Some people may even say that it's annoying that Hughes still gets brought up dozens of episodes later but of course he would get brought up. He died. A beloved friend/comrade/husband/father stopped existing. Of course it will get brought up again and again because a ton of people loved him.
