2018-08-18 23:01:10 +0000 UTCDuring the summer in Japan, it's a lot shorter of a time and they are usually given A BUNCH of homework during the "vacation". Schools are open all during summer and most students go there frequently to study. Dress code and phones, along with a lot of other western "accessories" aren't allowed near or in school so everything's very strict, school says it, you do it. :D
