Doctor Who 5x11

"The Lodger"

Doctor Who 5x11

Comments

HE has harry arms, thats all.

who?!

to add to your comment Alan Carroll, He actually played for Nottingham Forrest along side Jermaine Jenas

They would need someone that can be there every week which they don't have since Rick is the anime guy not the sci-fi one.

Doby Greg

guys cause i am from another world from yous i can still remember calvan even tho he was sucked through the crack :O try your hardest to remember he will come back if u try :( ;)

Stephanie Reacts

Fun Fact: Matt Smith actually wanted to be a professional football player when he was young but a back injury ended his playing career. Those are his actual skills onscreen.

Alan Carroll

Does Shane wear gloves when getting a tan lol

Bert

Yeah, a bit of waiting for each other still to come for Amy and Rory... :-)

Doug C

I’ve come across many Amy haters over the years, so you guys aren’t the only ones who dislike her. I’ll always defend Amy Pond because I’m tired of people judging her character based on one stupid scene. I don’t blame you guys because you haven’t seen her full arc yet. By the end of her run she changes and grows a lot as a person. Her love for Rory grows too.

Fizzy

Have you guys considered getting a fourth to review this show with? I bet the discussions would be really good with another sci-fi fan at the table that isn't familiar with the show already. ;-)

Doug C

Thought I was alone in not liking Amy Pond.... my least favorite companion. 😒

This is one of my favorite episodes.

Lance Zehnder

haha Great Mini skit hahaha

Rot doesn't usually kill people, so touching it wouldn't have appeared to be a massive risk. :)

Will

Clean your set, why is there dirty laundry on the floor?

SuperTallBird

Love the intro!

Jeanette C

With Amy they should give it time. I quite like the fact she is a flawed and clearly complicated character, but I recognise that she is initially not overly likeable. But she will be very soon,

Nick Earl

I Think its stated timelords a natural appeal to other species.

That intro though 😂

I'm certainly incredulous

Stephen Ray

That shirt is incredible

James Thompson

So glad someone else pointed this out.

Leah Tumilty

FUN FACT: Matt Smith was actually going to be a professional footballer. He was in the Leicester city youth academy. Unfortunately, he suffered a nasty back injury and was released from the club. His teacher insisted he tried acting and that's why he's the doctor today

Alric Amon

Wow guys - that intro was so good! V impressed at your acting skills too! Well done - to the editor too :)

11th being great at football and how much he enjoys is one of my favourite moments. He's just so aloof to being gifted that I can't hep but feel bad for the lodger.

Doby Greg

oh the finale is gonna be awesome!

Rahul Attray

Its Smithy

David Moyes

I love the finale of the series. Seems to tie everything together imo. The name “Doctor” is explored later on, but never definitively answered

Jack Warren

And no, I don't know why I let this episode piss me off so much. It's just always bothered me, since the moment it aired.

HAHAHA that intro x)

Knight of the Moon

This episode would have been so much funnier if the writer hadn't made the Doctor an absolute *moron* who doesn't know shit he's known most of his life. It really makes me think Eleven hit his head on the console when the TARDIS was crashing. Five: *plays human sports like cricket* Six: *watches sports on the First Doctor's time-space visualiser* Nine: *has access to the sports channels to watch football* Eleven: *doesn't even know that football doesn't involve a stick* And that's just one example. There's also the example where every other Doctor knows how human greetings work, but Eleven for some reason has no fucking clue and goes in for the most awkward greeting possible. Sure, if you pretend like the Doctor isn't the Doctor, but some random "wacky alien" that we've never seen before, it's all funny. However, it *is* the Doctor, who has spent more of his life with humans and on or around Earth than he did with his own people, and we're supposed to believe that he's that ignorant? I get that he doesn't get the finer points of human psychology, economics, etc, but this shit is all very basic information, and stuff the Doctor has known in the past.

Love this ep. James Corden is awesome

Shelma32

This episode is so funny and it’s the one that made me really love Matt Smith’s Doctor!
