even though i love the dub i do agree with this it was way better done in the sub but hey everything can't be perfect. Still love them both for their own reason.

Watching this reminds me of the Gohan vs Cell kamehameha stand-off. Both Goha/Deku with a broken arm, Cell/Muscular with the upperhand and so close to finishing it off, Kota/Vegeta-ZFighters distracting the villian and Gohan/Deku taking advantage to do a final push and coming out victorious. I liked it.

I really don't have a problem with the dub most of the time, but man, they really didn't do a good job of capturing the conflicting voices in Midoriya's head during the part where he was going over his options. That was my favorite part of the subbed version, where he was trying to think rationally and come up with a plan but the other part of him was basically like "Don't think, just fight." You don't really get a sense of that in the dub. It just sounds like one continuous thought.

There is just something about this series man that just gets so many of us. Moments like Midoriya saving Koto just make me tear up. It was cool to see the crew got emotional at the end too. Hell they were even worried about Deku despite being concerned earlier if knowing he will be the greatest hero would kill tension or worry for him in fights. Great reaction.

Yeah this episode is my favorite of the series so far and tied with another moment later on but that won't be until season 4, as my favorite moment in the manga as well. It had it all, the most heroic moment for Deku, the biggest threat he's ever faced so far, the anguish and fear as he's knocking on deaths door apologizing to his mom and all might. Makes the victory so much sweeter to where he now has someone who looks at him like how he looks at all might.

Honestly this is my favorite MHA episode. I was contemplating between this one and THE other one but this really hit me HARD when I first saw it and Midorya is my favorite character so seeing him become this much of a badass was truly inspiring
