OH SNAP. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by this season. Specially the second half.

To you guys question why the angels blade din’t work on Jack is simple, remember when Gabriel got kill by Lucifer? Only some Blades can kill an Archángel like other Archagels blade n I’m not sure but the long angel sword that Claire Novak stole I think they said it was unique too, but don’t know if it will work. Not even the Colt work on Lucifer so I don’t think that would work on him eater. N the lance of Michael Crowley broke it. So since they us common angel blade on Jack it dint do anything to his archangel powers.

While I can understand he is in an emotional state right now, I won't deny that his hypocrisy really pissed me off this episode. He says that they need to kill Jack for no other reason then he is a monster, that's what they do, kill monsters. And yet prays to God to bring back Crowly, a demon, just as much of a "monster" as Jack, except Crowly has actually hurt, killed and done numerous other evil things, and been an antagonist to them countless times, yet he is ok with him being alive, but wants to kill jack, who hasn't even been given the chance to show if he is evil, or good or an actual "monster." Sadly Dean being a hypocrite has been a running theme throughout this seires, which would make him very compelling character, except he never seems to learn from it, or change.

Great reaction. Thank you again for coming back to Supernatural. Season 13 is well worth it. If you remember back in season 8 Castiel and Metatron met a nephalim who was the result of a regular angel and a human. It was explained in that episode that nephalims are more powerful and harder to kill than any other angel, even archangels. Jack is the result of an archangel and a human, so he is going to be that much stronger and harder to kill again.

Awesome! Didn't know you were going to go ahead with Season 13. So happy! It's miles better than Season 12. After the botched, rushed end to last season, they give everything time to work out this season. Poor Dean, though - he's possibly the most broken we've seen him to date.
