Flint killed Gates for purely personal gain. They don't hate Flint. They hate Eleanor because they have this weird double-standard thing going on when it comes to her compared to other major characters.

2018-09-18 12:56:03 +0000 UTCThey loved Vane though and Eleanor was a character they never really fell in love with. Eleanor screwing Vane over in season 2 and having him executed in season 3 are probably the biggest factors in them souring on her and seeing her in a bad light.
