Weirdly the one Jedi that was emotianal is the one that led to the Jedi downfall. I'm not a fan of the stupid vow of chastity thing but Anakin is a bad example of why it doesn't work. If anything he did exactly what they were afraid would happen.

2019-03-23 16:49:26 +0000 UTCIt's not about marriage. It's about the attachment. Allowing marriage does nothing to remove that attachment. You could argue that attachment can be a good thing too, and that is what allowed Vader to return to the light. But then again, without attachment he wouldn't have turned in the first place. Maybe there is a better way to do things without having to forbid marriage, but attachment for the Jedi does have a real danger to it and I don't think Jedi are wrong about it.

He would have made her a hostage for the rest of her life while Anakin served him, and while that would have made Anakin hate Palpatine it wouldn't have mattered since hatred would have made him a more powerful servant.

The stress of having to keep his marriage a secret is what allows Palpatine a sith to more easily manipulate Anakin. He also wasn't able to trust or had to question who he could trust with the secret in direct response to the Jedi orders strict policy.

They are however secretly also part of the separatist council, the secret de facto-leadership of the separatists. They are similar to the trade federation, in that they are officially neutral or republic-aligned, but secretly part of the separatist council. The council is what we see in ep2 and ep3, while the separatist senate is the de jure leadership of the separatists. It is a seemingly fully functional government seen in a few episodes of the clone wars, but behind the scenes the separatists are run by dooku and the council. Also, the robotic guy you’re thinking of is the head of the techno union.
