The Flash 5x17 Poll!

Do you think Sherloque Wells was right to call out Nora when he did?

Comments

Nora had many opportunities to confess and she didn't. She lost the privilege/benefit of the doubt a while ago

Danny King

Yes because Nora would not told them the truth and Sherlock has earn by being told by Iris not to investigation Nora ( epsiode 11 when she got hurt)

No I think he should’ve given her the chance to tell everyone, but if she didn’t say anything then he could’ve stepped in.

Brandon Johnson

I'm not sure threatening a speedster is a smart idea.

Doby Greg

I liked that he did that, call her out for making this season happen lol Off topic tho, Caitlyn said that grace isnt strong enough to take the cure. Also his father said before he died save grace... soo theres your consent 🤷‍♂️ plot hole...

Colt Baudoux

I say no. Yes he was right to start by saying Nora has a secret but then he should have let Nora tell her side of the story. She needs to be able to explain exactly what it’s like in the future where this was her only choice. From what we’ve seen it seems like she’s doing all this to help and save Barry.

Allison

Even when Thawne said she should tell everyone, she couldn't. She never would have.

Nathan Mortenson

Yeah, no, that's bullshit. Sherloque was running on pure pride of having solved the mystery. There is no scenario in which he would have let her interrupt him

Yes, she could have easily taken over in the middle of his synopsis but she didn't

Amanda Winner

Yup, wanting to tell and actually do it are two differnt cats. He did the right thing.

Henry Wallace

Hell no She was ready to tell everybody the truth anf had a chance to present it the right way But Sherloque just interapted her while confesing I belive she had the right to reveal everything the way she wanted and Sherloque should have sad anything only if she kept any details to herself Eventualy it looked like he wanted to have credit for solving this mistery

Yes because I don’t think Nora would have told the whole story I think she would have told some of the truth but not all of it

Kricket Carnes

Yes of course when you are keeping a secret that affects everyone by carton a worse killer than the original you have no right to keep it. If Oliver kept a secret this big Felicity would have divorced him and kept he arrows in the custody battle in court! Great episode

Gavin Hardiman

I say yes, he was right to do it, however I am going to vote no. The only reason for that is because Sherloque knew Nora was wanting to come out with the truth, but she was struggling to do so. Before jumping straight into revealing her secret, he could have given her one last chance to do the right thing with an ultimatum of “either you tell them the truth, or I will.”

Dylan Carpenter

Sherlock was right to say it course Nora was telling him to stop so she wasn't going to tell them the truth she was going to lie

I definitely think Sherloque was right to call her out. She didn't appear to want to reveal her secret from his perspective and even when he was explaining , she kept telling him to stop.

Luis Garcia

Aaron, your reaction to them when they were outside of Gracies room talking about her and you asked why they didn’t just use the cure made you miss their explanation as to why. Also you guys are awesome.

CJ

Sherloque should have given her the chance to explain... e.g. "I know who your partner is, tell them or I will" ....saying that in front of everyone (in case Nora is bad and twists the narrative to make Sherloque seem evil). If Nora did not take that branch then Sherloque should say something

deltaforce

After all the build up in these episodes. Its had to be Sherloque otherwise it would've been really unsatisfactory and disappointing. And Nora might have twisted the story or hidden some part to make them feel less betrayed considering how she was saying Shut Up to Sherloque.

I don't think Nora would have told it. She had several opportunities and every time she didn't

Flashback007

I think the timer is how long he's gonna be held up in prison. So when it hits 0 I think he will go to the past.

She should have told Barry after episode 100 when she learned about what Eobard did to Barry. If she had told him then, i think he would have had a different reaction. But she waited until the last possible moment and then Sherloque beat her to it.

Fallen

100% Yes, Because even Thawn told Nora to tell Barry everything and she waited until Sherloque to call her out to say anything. Plus I bet if Nora told Barry from the beginning we wouldn't even have this problem or at least he wouldn't be as mad.

EXILE169

No, I should have said it. Im sorry 🧣

EXILE169

No! I feel like he should've given her the chance to say it and if she didn't say it then he should've told them. He should've said "you should tell the or i will"

Dip602

She had so many chances. Even when Sherloque was beginning to reveal it she could have blurted it out or stopped him to tell it her way. But she didn't.

TheUndeadFish

It broke my heart, but it had to be done. Can’t trust Reverse Flash.

Evan Wucher

Sherloque said it best; by taking so long to tell them, she made them all (potential) puppets to Thawne's manipulation.

Laugh Data

Absolutely! I loved watching Sherloque investigate and try to get in the mindset of Thawne pretending to be Harrison Wells.

Considering how long it had been going on for, yes. Nora had been keeping the secret that she had been working with her father's mortal enemy, the killer of her grandmother, for almost a year.

Stoned Volus

Actually, I voted no because I feel like he should have done it as soon as he figured it all out. Besides, it seemed like Nora was going to tell herself anyway.

Diego R.

Heck yeah. I always get mad when they bring a new Wells cos I love Harry, but damnit they make me love the new Wells each time. Sherloque calling her out was awesome!!

I Am Groot

Yes, he did the right thing because even though it was Nora who was tricking them, she wasn't the one in control. there might of been a chance for forgiveness if she was working by herself but Sherloque knew from the start that she wasn't smart enough to come up with all of her ideas. which means she was just a puppet of the Reverse-Flash like they were but just didn't know it yet. By the way the girl who played adult Grace was Alicia from Smallville.

Nora knew he was investigating her, and instead of confronting him or confessing to her family she chose to meddle in his personal life to distract him. She knew he would out her but thought he let it go; he didn’t.

LKG

Yes, She had a lot of time to come clean. However I think there will be a bad outcome, because reverse flash wanted Flash to know right then as well; probably to screw with him somehow.

Boomchicawawa Bay

I think he was right saying it because everyone knows how big a threat reverse flash can be, and it felt like she wasn't going to come clean.

Tucker Lobner

Even after telling Barry she had to tell him something she still couldn't bring herself to do it, somebody had to.

Kevin Bartelen

he gave her TONS of chances, he knew it needed to be done

The 16bit Couple

Regardless of the fact that I couldn’t stand another episode where they don’t know? Yeah, he was right to. Especially considering who she’s working with. Should have told them right away.

RyanKlip

about damn time!

Yes because he been trying to solve it for a while. Also sorry Eric, but The Last Jedi was honestly a disappointment, of course my opinion and I respect yours too🤘

Cristian1818

I thought she might fess up before he got a chance to, but of course she didn’t. Seems as though her helping with that satellite made everything worse.

LKG

She never would have told, she was too afraid of what they would all think. And boy just wait.......you are not prepared.

Andrew Courtney

It's been over a year since she came back. She's had that much time to tell them the truth. She may have wanted to, but she couldn't bring herself to do it, even when Thawne himself told her to. So she was clearly never going to, even if she tried. What I want to know is how Cecile never picked that up from her mind.

Darth Skhorrn

Man I found it hilarious that Nora set that up for Sherloque so well. It would've been awkward to tell Barry and Iris that I'm investigating your daughter out of the blue.

Joel

If Nora hadn't been extremely clearly about to tell them herself? Yes. If she started to talk but then changed her mind? Yes. If she talked but then he felt there was something she was leaving out? Yes. But as it stands, Sherloque was absolutely and completely in the wrong. I was completely disgusted by Sherloque here. Other people are talking about it being Thawne and the "moral responsibility". To that I say bullshit. Sherloque doesn't care about that. He was driven by his pride at having solved the mystery that only he knew was there to be solved, and needed to tout his superiority to the team.

Yes i am a man........also i think nora was wrong to keep thawne a secret. Especially after learning the truth about thawne

Tilted Krow

Yes. Thawne is a dangerous, murderous, son of a goat and it's clear she wasn't going to come clean. But the bigger question to me is: how the HECK did this show manage to make me care about Ciclara killing Uncle Orlin Oswald? This truly is the impossible show.

The Amish Electrician

YES! I love Nora's character. But she had THOUSANDS of opportunities to tell the truth. She had her chance but missed it.

Frank Tremel

If we're talking morally speaking I would say Sherloque was 100% right. Eobard killed Barry's mother (I know the same argument could've been made with Slade in Arrow, but he at least seemed incredibly regretful for his actions), so I don't think Nora really has a right to privacy when it comes to working with someone like that. On another note, I think all the scenes with him investigating her would've felt pointless if all that information was just admitted by Nora anyway and Sherloque's reveal was one of my favorite moments of the season so far.

Absolutely. He has given her plenty of chances to tell everyone. Especially considering we are talking about Eobard Thawne. Regardless of the reasons, Barry needed to know. If Nora wasn’t go to voluntarily tell him, then she had to be called put.

John M

Sherloque only did what he thought was right which was calling Nora out on her bs. How can she think it's ok to work with the man that killed her grandmother and not tell the team? And she still worked with him even after finding out what he did. I'm glad Sherloque did what he did. It's about time the truth came out even if it did hurt like hell. I feel like if Nora was left to confess, she'd somehow omitt the fact that she's been working with Thawne from the start

Anthia Grant

Nora was holding of saying it for a very long time I don’t think she was ever gonna tell them herself she did want to tell them something at the end but she probably would’ve lied to them again

Christian Bolda

Yes. He asked about a partner many times, she denied. He gave her a chance to tell the group after the memory machine, she didn't. He paused, she asked him to stay silent rather than use it to tell the truth.

Doby Greg

No, but I understand him doing so. Where he's not exactly super close to everyone as the other Wells have been, he still felt the danger he felt she was putting them in. But also, Cecile out right said she wanted to Nora something. Giving that, I feel if Sherloque just have her a few more moments, she would have been pushed to telling them on her own, which might have resulted differently.

Ian Vega

As soon as he found out who it was I think so. Knowing everything Eobard has done he would have been putting the rest of the team in danger by not saying anything. Nora was in an impossible situation and I hope they can work past it but Sherloque had every right to do what he did in my opinion.

ofcourse

Absolutely, I feel as if Nora would have postponed saying anything until a later date if she wasn’t called out for it

Daniel Aka Jardo

Yes...cant hold for to much longer
