I definitely get where you’re coming from. I’ve grown to enjoy some of the subversions in this show, but it certainly has been over hyped beyond belief for me. It doesn’t help that so many people don’t seem to think that a show that ‘gets good’ several arcs/seasons in is perhaps not that great of a show. But idk, to each their own. To clarify, I do enjoy the show quite a bit. Just not to the level most others seem to.

2019-03-26 12:24:26 +0000 UTCYeh and York New city arc made me binge the rest of the show in like a few days, the first few arcs are slow, but rewatching them, you understand alot more and they feel better after a 2nd rewatch

2019-03-24 16:11:59 +0000 UTCJust watched ur reaction to this episode, ep. 7, but those 2 at the end did die, but they just arent taken into account till the beginning of the next phase, watch carefully, by the beginning of the next phase, the amount of remaining applicants will be taken down by 2 since those 2 did die, but for whatever reason, that number isnt taken into account at the end of this episode, but the beginning of the next if I'm remembering correctly. It is a minor nitpick and correction on my part, but still an important one. I love ur reaction to this episode, it is one of my favorites of this arc so I was looking forward to it. Still wish u were watching the sub, or doing 2 per week on youtube, but all around Im just happy u are doing Hunter x Hunter, it is one of my all time fav. series. :)

2019-03-24 06:12:54 +0000 UTCSeconded. When you get a few episodes into the heavens Arena's arc the quality jumps as they reveal one of the best power systems in all of fantasy. I was hooked at phase 4 of the hunter exam personally.

I would say if you still think the show is boring half-way through the second arc, you should give up on the show. If you like the second arc somewhat, stick around as it only gets better and better. If you let me know what kinda anime you like, I can give you some recommendations that you may enjoy

But it makes sense to exclude the scene if their was NO reaction. Thanks for the info though...love your editing in general :)
