RWBY 6x5 Reaction Early Access!

I kind of assume umbrella lady was dead and I was fine with that. But that fight scene was awesome. Although I aways thought the umbrella was just there for when she's messing around rather than an integral part of her stle like Ruby's scythe.

This episode showcases the fact that RT is capable of great choreography, but it's the animation that causes the poor quality we've been noticing. It's too slow most of the time. There are too many frames in between a move being thrown and the impact. It makes the fighting seem to lack speed and kinetic force. Here though they showed that they actually can do a Monty level fight. It's fast-paced and really works because of that. What the animators don't seem to understand is that we don't need to see a punch from beginning to end. We don't need to be able to visibly track the fist of the fighter in its journey towards their opponent. Literally just show a frame or two of the punch STARTING and then a SINGLE frame of stillness with the blow making contact, to convey the impact itself, and then a frame or two to show the limb retracting. Even though we won't be able to see the ENTIRE blow, the brain will fill in the gaps and make us think we did. The result is a very fast action that feels like it has real force.

Gonna put this out there for you guys now cause I already see it's going to start showing up in your comments sections: y'all are going to start seeing a lot of Blake/Yang stuff, lotta anger, lotta dumb people, just ignore it as best you can and try to focus on the story that's being told. I'm sure you'll get what's going on eventually.

The blake and yang scene was mostly for the fans who ship them as a couple and there are a lot of people who ship them as a couple. Also, are you 4 ever gonna bring the vic mignogna sexual misconduct situation since he did do the voice for qrow and I just wanna hear these guys' opinion on it seeing as how considering what's going on with qrow at this point of the season this would be the perfect time to talk about it
