I also want to add that the entire argument was made over the placement of an apostrophe in closed captions when the "official captions" are constantly wrong. Either that, or Vernal's name is actually April (according to 5x06)

Ruby's eyes would have triggered from the Wyvern and Cinder eventually. They triggered from the apathy and they were fall less threatening. There wasn't really much of a stall because Ruby reached the top at the point she died. It was ultimately in vain.
Pyrrha Nikos being based Achilles Nikos, and going down from the Achilles tendon arrow shot, just like the myth shows she was meant to die regardless.

She died stalling Cinder so others could stop her. And thanks to it Ruby got fuck her up good. I don't think Salem's mortality change much to that. If anything Jaune didn't call the reinforcement she asked for.

Ozpin literally told Pyrrha to stay back, "she would just get in the way" when he fought Cinder. Then she ran after Cinder when she saw that she escaped the vault and beat him in a fight. She done goofed, was another needless martyr.

She did not choose to die. She fought because she believed it was her destiny. That's why she asked Cinder if she believe in destiny. Howver the whole fight in my opinion was pointless. Ozpin literally told her nothing about why he wanted her to become a maiden. If he kept Amber away from Beacon she would not have died. Cinder wanted power, but also to get Vale's relic. For Salem. Also Jaune is justified because even if Phyrra had the power. She wouldn't have time to learn unless Ozpin came to her in the beggining.

Pyrrha died because she chose to die. She did not need to fight cinder, so jaune is not justified.

I don't think that's true because it was still a good idea, IMO, to try and keep the rest of the maiden powers from someone under Salem's control. They don't know of any way to stop her yet but they are still trying to slow her down from getting what she want. Which is all they can really do until they either can find a way to stop her or Salem wins.

Jaune is somewhat justified since he just found out that Pyrrha died for literally nothing.

So you are basing this theory on the fact, thst there is "the" in the "right" wording? That doesn´t mean it is specific to only fall maidens. Didn´t Wats(or whatever is his name) ask something like "how is it possible she was defeated, especialy since she had the power, when people without it had succeeded before? " Meaning he has already brought up her power. So the would make gramaticaly sense, even if it is also applicable to all the maiden´s powers.

Yeah, it's definitely just the Grimm arm. The only reason Salem said, "It's because of the Maiden's power." is because they didn't want to spoil the Grimm arm and didn't think we would assume the insect Grimm was still inside her.

Not everyone speaks the same way? Thats how I speak? I only offered it as a possibility and you are literally overanalyzing the placement of an apostrophe that wouldn't be noticed without the subtitles on a show that has the worst continuity problem known

But why would they specify that specific Maiden. No one would say "I cant eat that because of that peanut butter" they say "I cant eat that because Im allergic to peanut butter". Also, its been explicitly told to us that it only works on Grimm, and throughout the series, if it affected magic, we should have seen Oscar or Raven and such be affected too. And when Cinder was hurt in Vol 5, she specifically grabbed her left arm, her most exposed Grimm part.

That doesnt necessarily mean it's not applicable to all maidens' power. If someone says "I can't eat that sandwich because I'm allergic to the peanut butter in it" doesnt mean only the peanut butter in that one sandwich, but all peanut butter.

Actually, that bit in Vol 4 was basically a mishearing from all of us. In the Blu-Ray, the true RT subtitles say "Its is because of the Maiden's power" not "Maidens' power" meaning its specific to the Fall Maiden powers, and the only thing different is how Cinder got the powers, so its still the Grimm thats being affected, not the magic.

Cinder has that grimm bug in her that turned into her tattoo after she attacked the maiden. So she's always been part grimm even before getting the new arm but there were also a bunch of Grimm around beacon that would still make rubys eyes trigger. Salem also insinuated in v4 that the maiden powers makes cinder vulnerable to silver eyes.
