This is not a spoiler but you guys should know that Geass does not work on the people with the code such as V.V. and C.C. The evidence of this is when lelouch tried to use his Geass on C.C. it didn't work and she has said Geass will not work on her. Now also when Charles took V.V. and he became an immortal being like C.C. he became immune to geass as well since he now has the code. So I said all that to say this. Why do you think lelouch has C. C. Code when rolo's Geass worked on lelouch?

When I take a break on my pledge it stops me accessing the videos on the website despite paying the current month. So I can see the discussion(patreon) but not the reaction(website). But since there's a new policy I will refrain to ask in the future.

The first turn of events was the American revolution being crushed at the Siege of Yorktown and remained part of Great Britain. The second was the Napoleonic wars ended with the victory of Napoleon, who conquered all of Europe.

Given the Crew's feelings for a certain character, I wasn't sure how they were going to respond to what happened in this episode. I am glad they reacted the way they did to the last part. It was what I was hoping it would be! Ugh, trying to write a spoiler-free comment always make me sound so generic. LOL

The timeline diverges from the Revolutionary War. America was never founded, and the Britannian Empire just kicked into overdrive afterwards. How they developed mechs along the way because of this? Who knows. But ultimately, outside of a handful of attempted revolts, there has never been a "World War" until this point.

That Black Knights showdown is probably my favourite part when comparing this show to Death Note's scene with Light cornered by his comrades like Zero. While Light just breaks down and desperately tries to get out of it and kill everyone, Lelouch just accepts it as his retribution and only tries to save the seemingly last person still caring for him.

WW I and WW II didn't happen. From what I remember the show takes place in a "what if" world where the Napoleonic Wars were won by the French Empire (hence there is an Empire with an Emperor.) There was no American Revolution therefore no French Revolution. Most of Europe and the Americas are a part of the Empire. I couldn't be remembering wrong. If someone knows better I would love to read about it.

Idk if WW2 happened in Code Geass' universe, but the Fleija Bombs are the birth of nuclear warfare in that universe, so if they had something akin to WW2, it didn't end the same way it did for us.
