Yeah, I've never really fully understood the show's insane popularity. The music, animation and voice acting are all great but the characters are only OK and, most damningly, I found basically all the stories totally uninvolving.

I never really got the hype, to me the best thing in the show is the music, maybe its because I only watched it after seeing lots of other anime so its just not the pro generator of alot of themes and ideas because ive seen them elsewhere now. I feel like Samurai Champloo is much better overall in the fight choreography and character's .

2019-09-11 06:17:32 +0000 UTCI swear to god that I am going to watch every single episode of this show all the way to then end. But goddamn is this show sometimes very slow and boring. I had no interest whatsoever in the story, the people involved, or the side story involving Faye. It takes so long for the fun part (the action scenes) to get underway. I did enjoy the music at the end though, it was soothing. I also really enjoyed the very last scene that didn't make sense at the first part until we got more context.
