Hi all, and welcome back to Elseridge Academy! This release include our first auxiliary dungeon (created by the fabulous Venatus Maps), rules for magical catastrophes, and a stunning map that completes the northern edge of the setting. Let's dive in!

Borough Guide

This guide explains the creation of Wrong Campus, a floating rock with a malformed academic wing. This space rock—or "satelite campus," if you will—is the perfect setting for some dangerous encounters. We also take a deep dive into discipline at Elseridge, mechanicalizing magical mishaps, General Education courses, and the journey year system. Much of this will help you to structure your magic school campaigns, a challenge for anyone trying to GM adventures in this subgenre.

Maps

This map is the northeasternmost corner of Elseridge. Now that we've got a long strip of maps covering the top part of campus, we're still only 1/3 done with the setting! I'm sure your players will love dashing across the shattered light bridge or jumping from rock to rock as they make their way to Wrong Campus. As with each of our Elseridge maps, we provide 5 additional aesthetic variants: Tropical, Forest, Winter, Fluxum, and Starfall.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier and up also get access to an interior for the Office of the Discplinarian Order. Needless to say, your players are going to get in trouble, so you're going to need a place to run some disciplinary hearings!

Music

Our track this week is "Wrong Campus," a creepy dungeon tune perfect for disquieting traipsing. As your players explore the misbegotten campus, you'll want to play something that alludes to the good intentions of the campus's creators but hints at the decided wrongness. This track has all of that! And if the sickly melody bothers you, throw on the "Ambient" variant for maximal unease.

Wrong Campus | Collaboration with Venatus Maps

We couldn't exactly tease Wrong Campus in our setting guide without getting one our illustrious collaborators to tackle a map for it! Luckily, our pal Venatus Maps was happy to take charge of this one. This map is the perfect entrance for subterranean dungeons or the ideal locale for climactic encounters. Venatus Maps is one of the true veterans of tabletop mapmaking, responsible for creating a huge array of maps, map assets, tokens, Foundry modules, and more!
