Hello wonderful patrons! We are so excited to announce our newest borough: Pelgrut Hideaway. This four-part bandit camp setting is the perfect settlement / combat arena / stealth gauntlet / well-populated dungeon for any fantasy campaign. We've got oodles of variants (each of which conviently pairs with one of our previous boroughs), and lots of customizable lore so that you can make this bandit camp fit into any campaign world.
Let's take a look at Pelgrut Hideaway and its devious quirks.

Our first borough guide introduces you to the Pelgrut Pack, their leader Peryn Pelgrut, and the general structure of how they like to operate. This ruthlessly efficient band of criminals selects a target town, sets up camp a few miles away, scrutinizes the city's riches and defenses, practices their craft, and then ransacks the city in a day-long crime spree. Then, they relocate and start again. Whether your party plans to take on the Pelgrut Pack or assist them in their banditry, this borough guide has you covered. A plot hook explores what it might look like for your party to seek out the camp during their travels.

The northwest corner of Pelgrut Hideaway includes the drawbridge and a path leading elsewhere, a number of tents and wagons, and of course: a section of palisade and dry moat. Toward the center of camp, Raisks's watchtower rises imperiously over the surroundings. For each of our Pelgrut Hideaway maps, we have a bunch of variants. In addition to variant nighttime lighting and a massacre map, we have:
Moody Island - a barrier island off the coast of Yllmourne
Misty Fen - a miserable hike from Thestwick
Dungeon - deep below Zahuatil Ruins
Desert - inexplicably astride Kadhizi
Snowy Hillside - on a peak adjacent to Falthringor or south of Vyndurvoht
Ravine - in the badlands east of Meddenfirth
Tropical Coast - along the beach from Ancora Bay

Our first map doesn't have any buildings requiring proper interiors, so instead, our patrons at the Chief Courier tier get a whole additional map! This forest map lies just northwest of the primary map. By default, it's filled with traps to help defend against lawmen, but we've also provided a version free from traps. If you'd rather pepper in some traps yourself, you can select from 11 brand new trap assets we've included in the Chief Courier zip!
Most parties are going to want to employ at least a bit of stealth as they approach Pelgrut Hideaway. When they do, throw on our track "Avoid Raisk's Gaze" to capture the intensity of the approach. This is stealth music, perfect for tiptoeing through the woods as an elven sniper peers across the landscape. Once shit hits the fan, throw on the "Frenzy" variant and roll initiative.
