You can't avoid coming across some bizarre characters on these busy streets

Greetings, adventurers, and welcome back to Demlin, the corporate heart of Svarnahelm! This release is all about the city's iconic boulevard. You can walk from the front door of the city's central bank all the way to distant and exotic lands without ever leaving this busy street. We've got some more bonus maps from Moonlight Maps, a collection of evocative scenes, and some more map interiors for Rokter Tower. Let's check it all out!

Borough Guide

Instead of focusing on one of Svarnahelm's megacorporations, this borough guide consists of 20 (!) evocative scenes for you to drag and drop into your Demlin campaigns. Roll a d20 to choose, or browse through and pick your favorites. Recruit some dockie urchins from the Janas, help solve the murder of a Thabfar courier, or help out a drunken financial sage from Blynka's Reserve. Or, do something stupider! Fight some fae bees, get punched by one of Nod's zealots, or get buff with the "Executive Rickshaw Workout." Any one of these 20 scenes might inspire your next big adventures.

Maps

Our primary map this week is the eastern half of the Trigold Loop, where Liberation Boulevard splits off toward Blynka's Reserve, Thabfar, Inc. HQ, Rokter Tower, and Fort Hornward. Pedestrian walkways crisscross the space above the iconic roundabout, and back alleys let Demlin natives avoid the traffic. We're releasing a bunch of variant maps for Demlin, including Sunset, Misty, Rainy, Snowy, Desert, and Skyport. This release and others featuring the district's central boulevard also include a Traffic Jam variant.

Our interior maps for this release actually pair with Rokter Tower in map 02. We figured the city's tallest skyscraper could feature a few additional floors, so we added a level of independent businesses (a salon! a lawyer's office! a gym! an art studio!), plus a floor of luxury apartments. A Rokter Tower dungeon crawl feels like a must for any campaign passing through Demlin.

Music

Our track this week is my personal favorite Demlin tune. Liberation Boulevard captures the cheery hustle-and-bustle of the city streets with pulsing horns, meandering piano chords, and insistent (but gentle!) jazz drums. This is the sound of safety and luxury; Svarnahelm is crazy and dangerous, but this commercial district is reliably pleasant while still thrumming with activity. To take things a bit slower, put on the Night variant.

Sewer Encampment - Collaboration with Moonlight Maps

Sure, Demlin's city streets are clean, but do you ever think about the folks who can't afford to live topside? Like... say, for example, goblins? We got our pals over at Moonlight Maps to design a map for the goblin encampment that the Merkfur Group unceremoniously floods as part of one our scenes in this borough guide. This sewer map pairs perfectly with the giant sewer map we made for Wresyck Junction, and Moonlight Maps made a whole slew of variants.

Mechanical Sewers - Collaboration with Moonlight Maps

Oops! Moonlight Maps made a second giant sewer map to bundle with this release. The mechanical sewers are a more complex section of Demlin's underground. We particularly love how the variants allow you to redirect the flow of water to dramatically reshape the battlefield.
