Update Report #23

Hi everyone! this week I bring you a preview of the different character textures, based on your muscle mass.

When I started to make the game, my idea for this was to change the size of your body based on your muscle mass, something that some of you might remember from the first versions of the game, but soon after that,  thinking about it more deeply, I decided to separate the body texture and the body size, that way you could have more customization, for example by choosing to have a large body without muscle, achieving a "fat" look for your character.

So now that in 2.4 you'll be able to change your muscle mass, this image shows an example of how your character can look like. On the left you have an average size body with the three textures for each level of muscle mass, and on the right side you can see two examples of a large body+muscle and a skinny body+no muscle, so you can have an idea of the different types of bodies you can have. Exercising in the Gym will only change the texture, to change your body size you'll have to either choose the one you want when you create your character, or pay to change it on the Transfig shop, as always.

Now, I'll try to explain how this works inside the Gym. In 2.4 energy will be added to the game, it will be the three thunder icons that you'll be able to see on the upper bar of the interface. Exercising in the Gym will consume one energy each time you do it, and to be able to recharge it, you'll need to sleep.

I changed how sleep and rest works too, and from now on, every time you click on the rest icon (meat and beer icon) you'll have the choice to rest or sleep. 

• Rest will push you 2 hours forward, you will recover 1/5 of your maximum health and mana, and your lust will increase in 5
• Sleep will push you to the next day, at 8 am. No matter when you sleep, you will always get pushed to the next day at 8 am (If you sleep at 7 am of Day 1, you'll get pushed to 8 am of Day 2) you will recover all your health and mana, and your lust will increase in 50

The objective of this change is to limit you with 3 energy for each day, because to enter the Gym you'll have to pay a small amount of gold every day, or pay a lot of gold just once. So the idea is that it will take you 5 in-game days to move from one amount of muscle mass to the other.

I'm working on the version this week, deciding the prices and all that, and for now I'm thinking about giving you the choice of paying 5 gold each day you want to enter, or just one payment of 500 gold. This way if you want to make your body more muscular for example, and you start with a toned body (middle muscle mass) It will take you 5 days, which would be 25 golds (5 each day) 

The amount is not final until the version is released, but I feel comfortable with it. I know I added a new tier of rewards with a cheat code that gives you gold, but obviously I don't want to abuse that, or make you feel like you need to pay me 15$ to enjoy the game. I need to experiment a little more with gold to see with how much you reach Stormwind if you play the game from the beginning and stuff like that, so the amount can change.
