Chapter 2 (Part 2) - 7
Added 2022-01-05 12:01:02 +0000 UTCI know I said I wasn't going to update today because I was supposed to be resting my shoulder, but I ended up being more productive this week than I thought I could. And this update... is one of my very favorites. I really wanted to capture the ambiance and feeling of being someplace new and experiencing the little things in a way only someone like Fletch can. Finding sentiment in something has small as a colored flag that falls into your hands....
Ironically, with this update, I also pushed myself to think outside the box (err... panels) and I did some design element things that I normally wouldn't. This made for a... rocky review with Rowdy a few weeks ago LOL :') . Needless to say I missed the mark and was devastated when I had to go back and change things. In the end, as always, we met in the middle and it worked out. And I feel just as strongly about this update now as I did before edits were made (which is good!).
I have a song for those of you who associate music with characters and scenes and feelings like I do. This was on repeat while drawing the entire update, and I feel it really sums up the ambiance of Fletch's feelings >> Stop: by Anthony Ramos

Fletch such an airhead but he is adorable when he's having a good time. That smile is cute. Rude people aside. Judas being a bit protective there lol I'm curious to see what your ideas were but glad you found a compromise with your editor. Please don't make her cry tho Rowdy, you might end up with a load of angry fans on your back 😂
