This poor character. Honestly, Nova has the most tragic story of ANY of my characters I've ever had. And June was dying! He's just.... gotten the shit end of the stick over and over and over again in his life.

Luca's happiness is the most important thing to Nova so he won't deny Luca a chance at a happy life. Even if it breaks Nova's heart *sob* Nova seems like the most tragic character in this story...
