Some News about The Maple Effect! (good and bad news)

So as most of you probably know, I am currently in the process of writing TME as an actual novel. Ever since I finished the comic I have wanted to do it a little more justice by re-writing the story that you all love so much. Since it was my very first comic (and I drew it 5 years ago!!!!) the art is not up-to-snuff! I look back at it often and think about how much I want to do more. I've also always wanted to publish a novel.

I am planning on launching a kickstarter for publishing/printing copies of TME and.... well there is a little bit of bad news attached to this.

I will be taking down the comic from Smackjeeves shortly. I KNOW that a lot of people are going to be sad and upset about this, but it really is the only way to keep my publishing process safe and free of copyrite issues. Not to mention the fact that people will inevitably criticize the NOVEL more harshly in regard to the comic if they have access to it for free.

The good news is that if you are willing to back the kickstarter, you will receive TME the original comic as one of the rewards! It will be in PDF form. And of course you are getting a whole novel too-- it will take some time but it will be worth it!

The reason that I am telling you guys here on my patreon (and not anyone else) is because I want to give you all the chance to read the comic one last time if your heart desires. <3

Sometime late tonight or in the early hours of the morning the pages will be taken down! You have..... probably about ten hours to indulge. :)
