A puzzle game where you decipher languages

It's a shame that I only really get a chance to recommend cool indie games at the very end of the year, in my annual "Most Innovative Game" video. So I want to fix that.
This is a new series called Weekender where, every now and again, I'll shout out a new indie game that's fun, inventive, and can be finished in a weekend.
The first game is the excellent Chants of Sennaar, a puzzle game about deciphering language.

2023-09-22 06:04:23 +0000 UTCI just played and finished this game a week or two ago, so you can imagine my delight at seeing this video pop up in my feed! Chants of Sennaar was, for me, the second real "Dinn-like" after Golden Idol, which I think is just wonderful to see because I love playing these deduction-style puzzle games. You pretty much covered all the thoughts I had while playing the game, and I wonder if perhaps my critiques (the drawings gave away the answers, the stealth sections disrupted the pacing) were the same as yours because I've watched so many of your videos and adopted your ideas! Regardless, I'd still recommend this one without hesitation.
