January & 2024 Forecast

Happy New Year's!

As we leave 2023 in the past, I'm not doing a recap. To be honest, I'm not disappointed in the year but I think a lot of mental issues popped up that just made me pause and rethink. I am hoping that 2024 is better, I think 2023 needed to happen but I'd be even happier if I learned and moved on, you know?

With that said, I'm excited for 2024. 2024 should be the year of some finished projects. Or that's just me speaking shit, you guys know I love doing it. Hopefully you guys are excited or at least interested lmfao.

So before we get into it, a loving shout out firstly to those of you who have stuck around. Some of you have been here since the VERY beginning. What is wrong with you? How do you put up with me? I'm kidding and I'm not. Like, wow. Just ... wow. I don't think, says the writer, I can properly thank you. I've always said, before even starting this that I'd rather write for a few who care than write for masses who are just there just cos and just knowing that I have folks who have seen me at every step is crazy and mind boggling and at the end, know that I literally keep going with you in mind. And to those who are new, welcome. Run. Fast. But no, honestly, thank you first and foremost. I'm not perfect. You'll learn that me and my brain do not see eye to cell, but I do my best and I am thankful. I've made some great friends from doing this, met some creative and inspiring people, and I thank you for that.

Alright, that's all the emotion you'll get out of me this year.

ONTO THE FORECAST!

Superstition

• Amari's Milestone will continue to be worked on and will hopefully have my focus. I'll be posting some sneak peeks as I go.
• 2024 Forecast: I swear I will finish Superstition. I don't care. I refuse to have this season leak into another year. That's all you need to know, I refuse. I will literally overwork myself into the most unhealthy state to get it done. I don't care. I refuse.

Throne of Ashes

• Nour's Route: Ch5 is now out for non-First Mates. This contains all of Nour's toxic updates as well.
• Ozara's Route: Have not done her fresh coat just yet, that is another thing I'll be doing this month.
• 2024 Forecast: Nour should be done this year. Ozara ... I don't know ... maybe ... it really depends on what Superstition does to me. But I feel like Ozara should at the very least be nearly done by the time the year is up. Makaio and Zarik will continue to get random updates as time goes by as well.

Sea of Stars

Nothing really to report still, maybe will get some attention but I'm not entirely sure. All really depends on where my brain leans.

• 2024 Forecast: *stares into space* Ha! Literally. Um ... I don't know what will happen to SoS. It'll at least get a few updates but I can't tell you how many at this exact moment. The deeper we get the more I can figure that out. But I am excited to get into this. Like my baby Seben still has to make an appearance and Minute! Like ugh!!!

Other

• 13Stories: Two new stories have been added for New Year's. Superstition and ToA.
• RoA Survey: The survey is available to all patreons because YEAR OF THE DRAGON. I'm sorry, I couldn't do something RoA centered this year. Be warned, as the survey says it at all, the fact there is a survey means no, it's nowhere close to being anywhere upcoming. Like this is Step One of brainstorming. But I also love brainstorming era so hey. Head to the survey post to learn more about it and what not.
