Gameplay test 2

Tried a few things for Ascension remake while I was taking a short break from Oathbreaker / dealing with a terrible cold. (If you know any cough remedies, please let me know. It doesn't let me sleep! 😑)

It's SO MUCH fun to work on rpgmaker with all the plug-ins and the features. It really was the perfect choice for this game.

Obviously nothing but the characters are final. I can't wait to fully commit to this project.

See you soon with updates/releases!

First comment ever, and Ascension was the first game I played of yours so I'm SUPER psyched for this to be complete!!!! I love everything you do, you're so talented!! I'm sorry about the cold! I agree with Roe Mi. When I get sick, that's all I drink and I've developed a taste for it too! Pineapple juice also helps soothe the throat and is far better than cough syrup, in my opinion. I'm excited for the final product, and I hope you get better quick!!

My grandma's recipe: drink made of warm water, lemon juice and honey. But I don't know the proportion... Remake looks great, I can't wait to play it :)

I'm really glad that you're bringing back Ascension. I loved this series very much and was really upset to see it go. Also just wanted to let you know that I like the new direction you're taking with the game and making it more open exploration with RPG Maker. I spotted hints of it in the Ascension squeal and was very excited for the mechanic as it offered more freedom for players. As for the cold and coughing, I'd listen to Annie Howard in the comments. Many of the points they bring up is very accurate especially the honey as it also acts as a natural regeneration agent (Same with virgin coconut oil). I will add though that the cough will go away the quicker you deal with the flu itself. Try not to exert/strain yourself, drink plenty of water, hot baths and showers can help clear you out, wash your hands often, take flu medicine and most of all sleep and reserve your energy.

Yes! There is a dlc set for these bigger/medieval stype sprites for rpgmaker here. https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/resources/rpg-maker-mv#tileset Needs a lot of plug-ins to make it work, but the end result is amazing! 😍

Oh! Cough drops in tea is a good idea too! :o

Rinmaru

Honey definitely seems to help for a little while at least. I'll try turning on my humidifier!!! Thank you so much! <3

Rinmaru

Vapor rub is a great idea! I'll try that tonight. 😭 Drinking lots of lime tea, I'll add mint to the mixture! TY so much, Dashana! ❀️❀️❀️❀️

I've also found that adding a cough drop directly to the tea seems to help as well.

This looks so amazing! Didn't realize RPGmaker had options to look this way--looks much more realistic in a great way than a lot of the rpgmaker games I've played. The cut scenes look absolutely incredible too of course.

Mint is actually good at suppressing coughing. I like to drink theraflu tea when real sick (which is a over the counter medication tea so don’t forget to read labels to understand what’s it does and what’s in it). Honey and warm tea in general helps tho. Humidity is good for night time and don’t forget to elevate your head when sleeping, it will help alleviate your coughing. Make sure to keep your throat moist so drink lots of warm teas and water, cough drops before bed.

Have you tried Vapor rub and Mint tea... make sure the tea is still warm.. and instead of rubbing the vapor rub on you... you just hold the jar close to your face and breath it for a while.. it sometimes help me lesson my cough.. note that breathing it in through you mouth is the best way to go but it has a burning tingle do it slowly.. it always help me and my household and it might work for you... although it does have a burning tingle while you do it... so for safe measures stick to Mint tea.. hot mint tea.... well that burns too but at least that can cool down. I hope you get better soon Dear~
