They get executed so well in the old and new characters and how deeply tied the Fishman really are to this watery world. I would love a video from you guys ranking the arcs together and seeing what are your favorites so far.

Thank you 🥰 To answer your question, no, I don't homeschool my kids (in Europe is not a widespread concept yet and it only gets granted under licence to parents in possession of a valid permanent teacher’s warrant and for valid reasons) but I am heavily involved with their education at home. I am naturally curious and therefore I read A LOT, so much so that it gained me the epithet of LuciaGPT 😂 My kids read a lot too and can get through two books a week. Nothing opens your mind like reading! And it's true, you have built an awesome community, full of people of talent and emotional intelligence, which is why I love being part of it! Thank you ❤️

Yet, what makes their story so impactful is their unwavering commitment to virtue. Despite the darkness surrounding them, they never gave in to the hatred or despair that could have consumed them. Instead, they fought for a higher ideal, one rooted in humanity and hope. Fisher Tiger and Queen Otohime are both admirable in their ways, but they are not alone in their depth. King Neptune, the princes, and Jinbei all contribute to the profound character development in this narrative. Each of them embodies honor and struggles with the heavy mental burdens placed upon them by their world, adding layers to the story's emotional weight. Otohime’s life is a testament to perseverance. She endured immense challenges, from bargaining with the world government—a relationship strained by Fisher Tiger’s rebellion—to confronting the closed-mindedness of her own merfolk people. Viewing it at a different time in my life, this arc is a lot deeper than what I initially got out of it. That's the beauty of the show and why I'm here watching it a third time, I always get something new from One Piece.

They literally are being goofy when in reality their breaking down inside. It changes your perspective of those two characters who you originally thought were just Joke characters when they first showed up, to Tragic characters.
