The moment you guys started talking about how wild it would be if Sabo was still alive and actually ended up eating that fruit, I was already screaming. Oda just knows what the fans want, like he’s in our brains or something. I’ve never read the manga, only ever watched the anime, but maaaan, I can only imagine how insane that reveal must’ve felt for the weekly manga readers. Like, to get hit with that and then have to wait a whole week to confirm what you already knew deep down? That’s pain and that’s a different kind of Pain than what Naruto knows…(sorry that was an Easter egg only Naruto fans would understand 😅) But, out of all the anime I’ve watched, One Piece gives me the biggest happy cries, no question. I finally got around to watching this today, been super busy, but I cleared out my weekend, made myself a nice black coffee, grabbed some protein wafers, and just soaked it all in first thing in the morning. Pure joy. Also, that Franky and Robin interaction had me cracking up. Franky just kept asking what the damn hell “Operation SOP” even stands for, and Robin straight up told him to shut up. Killed me. It gave me flashbacks to Punk Hazard when she told him to never speak while in Chopper’s body. Robin never says much, but these 5 second interactions she has with the straw hats crack me up 😆

I watched so many live reactions on YouTube — people reading this chapter for the first time, overwhelmed with emotion. Some couldn’t even speak for minutes. They just sat there, crying, they couldn't even form words, just crying. This chapter broke the Internet.

Now a little recap of the great writing of these episodes: -First we build some tension by showing Bellamy trying to kill Luffy and having a change of heart. -We change to Law v Doflamingo, here I loved the tension when Doffy gets a call and he keeps watching Law cause he knew he would do something if he lowered his guard. (Law should've trained more cardio for this fight). -Then we kinda rest a little when Zoro and Kinnemon reach Luffy to contact the rest of the Straw Hats. -The tension builds again as Franky expresses his wish to deviate from Law's plan and fight alongside the Tontattas. -Immediately after that we reach a highlight with Doffy shooting Law in front of everybody, manipulating the crowd and taking Law along with the admiral. -The stakes get even higher as Big Mom attacks the Sunny and the Straw Hats break into three groups. -Dellinger tried to kill Bellamy at the same time and he's saved by Bartolomeo. -And we finish with the revelation of Sabo taking Luffy's place in the arena. These three episodes were indeed a rollercoaster of emotions!

In the manga, they clash once, and Doflamingo is just so fast that law can't get a room off. The Anime changed it, to extended the fight sequences, making it look like Law was running out of energy with his powers. Personally this is a change that I don't like.

The reason why Vice Admiral Bastille and his men don't remember Sai, Abdullah and some of the other fighters, is because they have been turned into toys, and we know what happens to people's memories of them once they get turned. 3. Sabo's reveal was wild!!!! 😭 I cried and shouted with you guys! When you said that you dreamt about Sabo getting the flare-flare fruit I was sooo shocked!! It was incredible, Jason!! And it was super difficult to keep quiet...all for this moment! But the surprises have not finished yet and you will kick yourselves when I point this out (and I bet you will scream again!) 4. What was the name of the "cutie" speaking to Sabo over the Den Den Mushi?! 🤔🤔🤷♀️

Jason even called it on episode 2 of this arc when we found out that ace’s fruit will be up for grabs. I remember thinking wow his predictions have gotten so good. But I couldn’t even tell you that because in a way that would be confirming your theory and we can’t have that so it’s better to just not acknowledge them at all. But this is the biggest secret we had to keep besides ace dying. Also now you can watch the movie gold ❤️
