Love the lyricism! So fitting with the choreo! And your Twilight zone seeing that they were performing at the Grand, that's exactly how I felt watching The Jet Boy Bangerz as a Jpop group when I saw them all on D.League for like, 4 rounds of content haha! I get it!!

The chorus lyrics:
I can't let go, I'll cast a spell
Our love's a curse, but I can't get enough, propose
Just before we die, pull you into my kiss
Call me evil, I'll show you more
I get what I want, but I can't get enough, propose
With every touch, I feel the burn
Love's a curse
Propose is definitely one of my favorite tracks just from the creepy vibe of the lyrics. And like Eafiu said - the ideal setup is behind mic stands with spotlights on the current singer, so you'll see it in the showcase version
No lie, I tripped when I saw they went to Nashville and performed at the *Grand Ole Opry* - I grew up in and around Nashville so it was a little like dropping into the Twilight Zone. I'm glad they had fun and gave a great performance despite the lack of additional props (Gahyeon's mask for Scream and the handkerchiefs for You & I are small enough to be able to pack in a bag so they get to travel) and lighting being always on the entire stage.

Ugh, this is my favourite song of theirs hands-down, it has everything I want. When you know the lyrics, especially the chorus, the chorus choreo meaning actually becomes super obvious for every line and I do love that.
The reveal of this choreo was a whole different vibe though! For one, the ideal version of the performance does have mic stands in a V formation for each member (also spotlights were focused on singing members as you recommended). Dreamcatcher has another, fan-favourite angsty rock track from the BOCA era called Break the Wall, and it has a similar set-up. That one is all behind mic-stands, just straight-up singing (+ speaker horns for distorted vocal bits but I digress). It very much suits the vibe of the track. It's kind of a sombre but loud track and really has the "protagonist at their lowest moment, bracing for the climax" energy going for it. Since Propose was a similar song (but with a different vibe), when they started performing it behind mic stands during the BON VOYAGE comeback showcase, I was not surprised. I immediately thought of Break the Wall with no choreo. The second Handong pushed away from her mic stand and the rest followed like a beat behind to get in place for the first chorus, I lost my entire MIND. (Then I lost my entire mind again with the second verse Dami reveal, it is SUCH a good tableau for, imo, Dami's best rap section to date.) That choreo plot twist of course doesn't work that well with no mic stands. 😅
