Thank you for the reassurance as always!! For me I don’t really care as much as long as the vocals on the track are in fact theirs haha! Love it either way!

Wooyoung, Yunho, Seonghwa and Yeosang were using backtrack for the majority of this song. I can easily tell when Seunghwa is singing live based on how he sounds when he does and he was not doing so here, unfortunately. You were right to be suspicious. His voice is very pleasing but he cannot do it as stable as he did here while dancing like that. edit: I do think Seunghwa was attempting to sing/overpower the backtrack near the end, though because the vocals were FULL. San was lip synching at the beginning during the intro, which he gives away based on his lip movements (or lack-thereof). However he was noticeable laboured like you pointed out later on, where he did start singing again. That's the reason why they could go as hard as they did here, because boy were they giving it their all. Jongho was 100% live because he's just insane like that. Hongjoong and Mingi were live. You can usually see them rely on backtrack for one line in their songs to recover their breath every now and then. Thanks once again for reacting to this. Your reactions are always so insightful!

I will add this for when they have their next comeback later in the month!

Also really need to link you to their most recent Immortal Songs because Seonghwa really is that stable and he is definitely singing live in This World. He at one point does, well not a full kip up but close and then jumps like 10 feet in the air off a table and you can hear the slightest little waver - Immortal Songs does not allow you to lip synch at all so we know that but that moment still had people questioning it. Out of all of them, I feel like San is the one who is most likely to actually let the backing track take over for the more complicated choreo parts because he goes so hard on the dancing, so it's a decision he actively makes sometimes, but he also very good at live singing - https://youtu.be/hU2jYMxE-NU
