2024-08-07 03:51:04 +0000 UTCApologies in advance for the long ass essay- I mean, comment 😭 Jess, I’m here to report after having seen this life this past Saturday [salute emoji] and I can begin to express how happy I am that I waited to check out your reaction! Ateez gave us an AMAZING performance despite the delays and the rain. The only difference with the set was that they cut a few of the encore and more balads songs, cut a lot of the talking/interactive sections and WORK was added to the setlist. I’m so sad we didn’t get Deja Vu [tear-drop emoji] the rain would have been perfect for it lol but the acting and the story -elling was so captivating, they had me gasping and/or crying the whole time. It was so awesome to meet other Caribbean Atinys and make conversation about our Ateez journey, the songs we wished were on the set-list, other groups, etc. I was so happy I made friends that night! Some of the nicest people I’ve met recently. “Those probably cost a down payment on a house…. each” girl I don’t doubt it lol They have a second set of outfits for each of the clothe changes throughout the concert and the dark/navy blue versions of the sparkly outfits at the begining are soooooo pretty. Your reaction to Wake Up was my reaction to Wake Up lolol I was flabbergasted to say the least. Like what part of overthrowing a tyrannical regime requires all that hip trusting? 😭😭 But all jokes aside, the performance was very impactful live. I couldn't close my mouth. Fun fact: during the New York show this past weekend Hongjoong went full on for that screamed line at the beginning of Guerrilla!! It was sounded great! 2:24:45 I’m very proud of you Jess!! Because you marathon several groups at a time and you still make the effort to remember and recognize members. I get how not everyone has the brain capacity to accommodate leaning the names of people in a Kpop group on top of their daily lives, so I commend you for your active effort that has yielded results :) “Presenting my drunk friends” that was so accurate 😂😂😂 That section starting at Arriba was my favorite part of the concert/story telling. I inspired my outfit on it and even did my nails to match my outfit. It was definitely fun to re-watch with you even though it took me like 3 days to watch the whole video lol

To add, I think the feathers dancers throw on the Seonghwa/Hongjoong/Yunho breakdance represent the wings cut off = liberty was cut off, thats why in Seonghwa turn when the dancer(bad guy) wanted to hurt SH but the other bad guy stop him was like "It doesn't matter, we cut all his hope now" and then SH disappears with sad face.... Then I think on Wooyoung breakdance part any of the bad guys took/kidnaped him maybe because the start to finding "the light" = hope, and then started Silver Light song. One more thing the video doesn't show is the ball in the tower in the middle display an eye when scans the crowd, like "eyes in the sky" ment on other videos, this maybe represent Z government in strict land, then the "story" ends with Wonderland when Seonghwa cut this eye with his sword (in case you didn't notice the ball behind him display a scratch when SH attack with his sword). So they defeat this Eye/Guardian and then concert ends with just ATEEZ being happy and energetic. hahaha.... I hope this is understandable (sorry English is not my main language). This video also cut VCR .. not sure on this concert but previous ones also adds something to the ateez story so is a must to go see them live! haha I hope you can go to ATEEZ concert in the America tour <3. btw Arriba is also my favorite presentation of this Concert :D

I sit here in western PA waiting patiently for U.S. concert dates to be released because I will fly wherever I need to in order to see them. Lol. You’ve done a beautiful job not only analyzing the choreography but also explaining pieces of their storyline and how the performances fit in. I think I agree with your choices in the standouts, This World, Wake Up, Youth, and yes I just love Arriba and Django back to back. But honestly, I loved all of it. All eight members really nailed their performances and I’m so proud of them. Their incredible hard work shines through in this concert. I CAN’T WAIT to see them live!

2024-01-29 12:46:39 +0000 UTC1:33:55 seonghwa actually said he tried to find a middle ground with the sexy choreo in this concert cuz there is a lot😭😭 so he said especially with his part he tried not to go full out because what if for night two he can’t deliver as best as the first night in terms of “sexiness” and then people would be disappointed. Knowing seonghwa he would have definitely added more to the chair choreo but i do understand that he wanted it to tone it down a bit.
