2024-02-13 07:34:07 +0000 UTCHonestly I would have preferred the lots format haha or allowed all members to go and only the ones who are competent move on... Who knows the best format here haha! And didn't they do this in S6 because Salah did the same strategy with the BPM manipulation!

2024-02-13 00:36:22 +0000 UTCThey're definitely not showing all 49 pieces for the next episode, A LOT of people's turn got edited out. This next round's format has appeared in every season up until S4 and I don't think you'll be too mad about this season. I find that you do have to go into it knowing the captains aren't professional judges. It's also difficult to compare a choreographed piece to a freestyle. There have been cases when the freestyle is not quite as good, but got voted through because it's impressive the dancer's only heard the music once. I also suspect another reason this format didn't return is because once the contestants expect this format, people start getting crazy with the music choices & editing so there's no chance of a call out. Still it's a very fun idea and the contestants all have good vibes and performances so I hope you find it enjoyable! S1 is the only season where they didn't have the performance and challenge sections, everyone just drew numbers from 1-100 and once 49 people advanced, the round ended. If you drew a later number and were worried that you won't get a chance to perform you can do a call out. That was a bit more fair and they actually got to 100 but it took over 12 hours to film and they decided not to do that again 😂
