For me personally, if I'm not interested in the choreography, but I'm obligated to learn it in some capacity, I tend to struggle to learn it and retain it as effectively as other routines that I find excitement in. Take "Advice" for example. I learned "Advice" in 20 minutes because I was so excited to learn it, whereas with other routines (Guerilla - ATEEZ as an example) I wasn't as passionate about it so it took me a significantly longer time to learn. Not that either choreography is better then the other, but my passion and desire to LEARN IT was different if that makes sense!
