2024-03-21 21:10:28 +0000 UTCYeah I was sad to see the music video was just the studio track overlayed on top of concert footage rather than being the actual concert recording but I get it. It's called the "concert ver." because it is an entirely new arrangement of a previous b-side that they also released on streaming websites. This latest tour got a bunch of songs new arrangements, and they chose to release studio recordings of two of them and this is promoting that basically. I am SO happy they did this though. This b-side is one of my favourite b-sides and hearing a new studio recording of it was great because it really showed how much the members improved as singers - the original b-side was phenomenal for me already but their new deliveries of the old lines is so much more mature? I don't know how to describe it. I love seeing vocalists grow like that.
