2024-04-23 13:46:14 +0000 UTCI completely agree when you said she fires up when she targets someone, what makes me so drawn to Lip J is how conversative dancing is to her. She's sooo expressive and whatever she wants to communicate is so clear. I know she was really close to and friends with Tyrone Proctor before he passed! I've seen videos of her teaching waacking a number of times and she always makes sure to mention its queer minority history and starting point. And you can tell how from her dancing how deeply rooted she is in waacking and her love for it and how much she's studied it, it shows in the confidence of all her moves! Love herr

I lost count of how many times I watched this, and like you, when I saw it the first time, I had no idea who either of them were, but it was so cool! Lip J also said that this whole performance was pretty much freestyle - she chose the music like 30 minutes before she was supposed to do the showcase.
