2024-04-28 06:58:46 +0000 UTCRIGHT! easily one of the most EVIL cases of editing ive ever seen from mnet. they usually just leave out certain context or exaggerate reactions to create their plotlines (which obviously is still bad) but they flatout LIED about midnight blue and manipulated hundreds of thousands of people into questioning his character and work ethic. its so ridiculous

2024-04-27 04:25:47 +0000 UTCthe way mnet edited midnight blue was actually so cruel it makes me upset because hes actually a sweetheart π there was this huge exposΓ© on be mbitious editing, and basically he couldn't participate in the hey mama mission because he was already picked as a no respect dancer before he could even try. in scenes of the other dancers after, you could even see glimpses of him asking dancers around him for help! that's why they couldn't get a direct response of him saying "i didn't try because i just want to freestyle" and mnet stitched separate clips together attached to their made-up context instead βΉοΈ he got so much hate too, it was so messed up for them to do that to him

We got to know some cool dancers whether they made it in the show or not :) I remember at that time those dancers were hanging out together after the show and midnight blue (the breaker who didn't do hey mama) was out having a meal with some of the others. I think Mnet just doesn't like to show anything that doesn't fit their narrative haha. I knew it was evil editing because it just didnβt make sense with how so many of these people literally act in every other facet π Wootae was too much of a teacher to be spoiled by the editing which made me really happy π and I LITERALLY saw on my Instagram feed a short of Austin and Koo Jung doing a hella sexy piece like 3 hours ago so I knew then that they were fine π

2024-04-26 06:00:12 +0000 UTCYeah, people were definitely questioning eliminating Brother Bin, even non-dancers could see that he should have won if you only kept the dancing in mind without thinking about any other factors. They're trying to push Junwoo as "The youngest with only 3 years of dance experience" and paint him as a successful underdog but it's really not fair to Brother Bin. I feel bad for Jungwoo too cause Mnet was basically throwing him to the wolves by giving him a win that a lot of people would see as undeserved. There's more to talk about concerning Jungwoo in particular but I think it might be considered spoilers? So I'll save it until later.

This was definitely an evil edit of U from ONF he and pyeongya are fine and he cheered him on later. the rules are definitely vague on purpose to give people more room to hang themselves on the editing floor. I love Pyeongya he's great and SO hot so that's a delightful bonus LOLOL

I really like seeing more of each individual dancers abilities, strengths, weaknesses, styles etc. I have found a lot of new dancers through this as well. there are definitely some messy bits in this but I think it was a nice perspective shift from the normal SMF/SWF
