You always do a great job articulating your perspective and I low-key learn something from your commentary every time you post a comment which makes me love Patreon so freaking much I swear! And no harm in having a preference mover! Low key some of my favorite movers aren't the "main dancers" in a particular group (but that just may be the teacher in me wanting to reward physical growth in people haha)

2024-05-30 06:52:49 +0000 UTCOh I loved your choreo and your students' performance of it! Especially obsessed with their isolations towards the end, definitely gave me goosebumps. Gosh, when you first announced you'd be watching KLW, my reaction to it was basically "OH YES SHE'LL SEE SKZ PERFORM" very immediately followed by "OH NO HYUNJIN IS NOT EVEN THERE FOR MOST OF IT 😭" I was so glad you ended up marathoning them partially because you'd get to see Hyunjin's work closely. I'm so glad I finally watched this!! (And can't wait for another one of his solo choreographies later.) Hyunjin is such a joy to watch for me because of the way he can move so sensually while holding so much punch in the more stuttery moments. I don't have the vocabulary for it so I don't know exactly where they overlap but his dance reminds me of Taemin so much as well. (It's so fun to see them dance together btw, they've done it a few short times.) Honestly, between my bias towards Hyunjin, SuA and Taemin as kpop dancers, I can see a pattern. 😂 I think my only different "style" dance bias is Kyujin from NMIXX but she is still so young and on the rookie side (compared to the other dancers on this list) so I am very curious about how she will keep developing her style. If she also ends up matching with the three former names, oh boy. 🤣

I could feel your dancers’ emotions through their movements, the emotion and message of the song came through. So absolutely beautiful! And for Hyunjin, I enjoy watching him progress. He has so much passion for dance and puts so much time and effort into learning how to channel and express his message through his movements. He has longer limbs, so controlling those extremities might be a bit challenging for him at times (in other performances), but given that he’s had no professional training prior to becoming an idol, I can understand that. Those little nuances take time, and he excels in so many other areas. He’s a gifted young man.
