Perfect 😂 love that I’ll have a friend in my small hand club 🥲 and I also love how they connected side effects with Gods menu! Very fitting and well placed and makes ALL the since why they went with the combination they did.

Related to why they called it Side Effects, I won't go into all the details since it goes into their lore and I would have to write a disertation on the subject, but as Telia said, there is a voice in the background on the track saying “common side effects include nervousness, insomnia, nausea, agitation, anxiety, sweating, vision problems, psychosis, numbness, dizziness, headaches, weight loss”. I believe they are speaking about the side - effects of growing up, from a mental health perspective, but also on the side effects of making their own choices. So the shadows, imo, are the side effects that prevents them to be themselves. This ties into God's Menu, as this was when they came into themselves and loudly affirmed their identity to the world and coined the mala taste genre of music.
