My guess is because they're incredibly close best friends so they have great chemistry with each other. They're also the two other members of Ateez besides Hongjoong that have tattoos, and they're matching best friend tattoos at that. They have some cool stuff that they do together that only ever shows up in concerts, like this duet they used to bridge Answer and Fireworks for their 2022 tour that I think is really beautiful - https://youtu.be/t3iG2nSnqzI

San at the end, you know I think just the shoulders was more of a sensual tease than just throwing off the whole shirt and he knows that lol The neck grab pair move at the end he does with Wooyoung is interestingly enough not in the BBTrippin version of the choreo. And as a blatant Wooyoung bias, an easy way to find him sometimes is if there is an isolated partner moment where San's reaching out or touching someone, it's probably Wooyoung. It's in Inception and several other pieces besides Deja Vu. Using very technical terms Wooyoung always stands out to me as the one whose movement is the most curvy, if that makes sense. He just flows in curves. Oh! There's a really fun vampire dance performance of Deja Vu they did for Halloween.
