BEAST!! Such a vibe those guys haha! VIXX had such a great era around 2014/2015 and one of my favorite gen 2 songs comes from them! I may have to make this a habit every month to binge a gen 2 group for fun!

Its nice to see you in your gen 2 fan energy! I know block Bs music of course but i didnt get into kpop until late gen 3 so everything i know about gen 2 is my adhd retconning and i really only went super deep with infinite and btob and shinee a bit though zero for conduct got tons on plays after i saw it in a kdrama (fight my way) so this is the first time i heard a lot of these.

I miss Block B, I loved the energy they brought. Never took themselves too seriously. Freeze was.....something. I jam to the song but their styling was a choice haha. I kinda miss groups having embarrassing debuts. Nalina is still absolutely a jam and I tried to learn the choreo back in the day.
Nilili Mambo is still such a good song/video. I feel like it stands the test of time pretty well. But yeah, the Very Good/Jackpot/HER era was so gooood. Def peak Block B. Just max silliness with crazy catchy songs. Shall We Dance was also the last song they released that I heard and I really vibe with that song. Oooh can't wait for Bastarz, Zero for Conduct goes hard!
This was such a fun video, loved being able to reminisce haha. I have not watched a lot of these videos in yeeeears. Gen 2 was when I got into Kpop (with Beast being my first group really) and I often get nostalgic for that era. I casually listened to a lot groups in Gen 2. It was a little less polished, but so fun. Not everything was better (fanwars were baaaad, etc), but groups used to interact more with collab stages. I remember Beast and MBLAQ used to do like dance battles on shows.
I'd love to hear your opinion on VIXX, I loved a lot of their choreography. It always tied into the story they were telling and felt more narrative than a lot of other groups because of their concepts.
