He was gonna wrap it up around #6 but he felt the number 8 is very meaningful to him for obvious reasons so he went ahead and ended it with #8. most likely moving forward he'll be focusing on releasing original works instead!

Knowing that MJ is Hongjoong's favorite artist and role model that inspired him to start making music when he was young, we can definitly see the effort and love he put in this cover. This is also the last song of his covers series that he started 6 years ago, wich is also very meaningful. To add more context, Hongjoong said that out of respect for MJ he didn't want to wear the iconic "Beat it" red jacket, that's why he decided to go with the yellow and magenta concept instead (because yellow + magenta = red). Also he said that it's the black jacket burning at the end, and you can see it slowly becoming red. ♥
