I stumbled upon a video talking about the controversial Native America war bonnets scene, I guess because it was included in my algorithm after watching wswf, and decided to see it for myself. Especially after mnet's attempt to go "global" and questionable producer choices. Eek.π«£

I also watched Boys Planet after it was done. But throughout the journey, my top trainees were both Hanbins, Jongwoo, Zhang Hao, Gunwook and Junhyeon (the hyper loud extrovert guy). Sung hanbin, Hao and Gunwook made it but Park Hanbin and Yoon Jongwoo just has a special place in my heart. If I would have voted then one of these two would have been my top pick. And Junhyeon's personality is something I vibe with very much. Love that guy.
And Haru, who battled against Min gyu (red house) is in XLOV with Wumuti and Rui. They hardly showed him in Boys Planet and he got eliminated in this elimination. Only time we got to see him was this battle.
And Yes Trix is Wang Zi Hao's teacher. I think by saying Wang Zi Hao vs Ye Dam is like Trix vs 5000, they didn't mean in terms of skill level but dance style.. Like krump vs hip hop. At least that's what I felt.

Also on the Ricky point, I'm not sure. I think he got in trouble a lot behind the scenes from lil anecdotes I've heard them talk about (nothing serious just having cellphone/ipads when they shouldn't have or looking things up about what people were saying online while filming). I do think they would have rather had someone else but I think his visual was too powerful and they might have got on board with where the wind was blowing over time. His Korean was pretty weak at first compared to the other members and I always wonder if they are a bit pissy pants about chinese trainees. These are all just my personal impressions based on things and not any real concrete data. He was from Yuehua too so i don't think his company was a disadvantage or barrier obviously and some (me) would side eye the overall Yuehua number of trainees that made it based on what we know about how producex101 operated but ultimately how I would have developed the group wouldn't have probably turned out as lovely as what we ended up with. The members I wouldn't have picked for my personal taste ended up being core parts of the group cohesion and dynamic which I think is vitally important to making a group worth supporting.

I think my top trainees were Jungwoo, Junhyeon, Gunwook, Matthew, both Hanbins, and Jay (in no particular order). I have a type I fear. I can't wait for you to see next round of Junhyeon haha. He IS a personality. I'm obsessed with him. I LOVE people with personality like that.

God, my favorite part of this show is clocking certain trainees during the reaction shots HAHAHA.

From what I've heard, apparently the dance battle was at like 1 am those boys were fighting for some nice late night snacks lol.
There were a lot more battles than were shown too, famously mnet teased a Sung Hanbin vs Haruto battle in the previous episode but they didn't air it, Haruto's mentioned that it was a full on waacking battle and that he even did like 10 dips but it wasn't aired
