Only getting to this now, and honestly I think their choreographer/s don't have a strong excuse. They need to talk with or collaborate with whoever does NCT WISH's choreography. Or even 127's recent choreography. Or RIIZE's? Like... SM actually has a fair number of groups under them right now that are an even number and most of them often make it work without this level of egregiousness 💀

But one good thing is that they did listen to some of the feedback so now the ending formation/ending fairy for the recent live performances doesn't cover any of the members. So hopefully for future comebacks, they'll take this into more consideration!
