As someone who also had a pretty rough 2017, I really empathize with you about the comfort these albums can bring to times like those! And with Kpop Star 5, I was asked to sing again.. didn't have another song... so I rapped like an idiot... was cut pretty soon after haha. Not much lore from there lol

I love these Bangtang bomb compilations cuz BTS’ digital footprint is something else lololol The physical album for WINGS is a real nice design you might find worth it to buy 2017 was a rough year for me so the WINGS era ,and the following Love Yourself era, was very emotionally impactful. In a way, and through these eras, BTS kinda accompanied me in my struggles and held my hand. Till this day, I do still feel in their music like they are holding my hand. I have had a lot of music/fan phases but so far BTS doesn’t feel like a phase. Sometime mid-December on 2016 Suga had an ear injury (I think he triped and bumped into something) so he didn’t participate on the end of year activities.

2025-03-08 17:24:29 +0000 UTC2016 was hard but happy year for bts as a group. Being an army in 2016 was pretty nice experience (better than 2015). Wait till you get to 2018. That year they were extremely EXTREMELY overworked. It's like when things finally got not so bad in korean industry, in 2017 they got exposed to an american and global industry and faced other problems and type of discrimination.
