Their charisma, interactions also the skill level being quite high compared to some other shows, everything , even the mentors funny comments during their performances, all together was very fun that made Boys Planet one of the best idol survival shows. I have watched this show and it's reactions about 10 times or even more. But other shows, some I drop in the middle and some I finish but I don't watch quite as often.. Like Universe League I liked it but I have watched it less than BP. But BP trainees really had fun character and interactions. They made the show fun to watch.

2025-03-31 19:48:58 +0000 UTCIt;s a SMOG= Smoke + Fog 😂 And I know Ingyoo's word choices got him into trouble but man I can't help but love that guy and In the actual Law MV, Ingyoo's part was the best for me. He looked so ethereal. He is not as tall as the others but he had so much charisma and boss energy kind of manipulating the others with his hand movements. And him not getting chosen by Wootae as the worst dancer was a surprise but I was happy coz I didn't want him to get chosen! 😅

Even within each category there was variety like, in Rap&Dance “Law” was definitely more dance focused vs rap, while “Rush” had a good amount of vocals. I was waiting for you to react to “Mr Comedy’s” t-shirt abs. It was a fantastic choice since it’s totally his vibe and tbh we’ve seen enough ab reveals, this was just a different spin and very memorable. For “Zoom” idk if you noticed, but in each rap sections, each guy starts their rap with the last few words of the previous guy’s rap. Like Ollie ended with “Ollie Wonka’s Gotta Go” and then Hyunbeen started with “Gotta Go” Yes, Woongki and Shauibo calling themselves “Feel Special Team” during Universe League talent show was a direct reference to this performance. “Love killa” Seowon was such a surprise for me. He radiates a similar boyish vibes as Woongki so him pulling off a mature sexier vibe was amazing. Also his voice is so unique. “Man in Love” was definitely the performance that solidified Taerae’s spot in the group. Also Mingyu’s enthusiasm is just contagious and so fun to watch (he’s Red House btw). I think this performance also showed everyone how much Mingyu has improved from his infamous “My House” performance. Sidenote, I’m also so happy they included an Infinite song, they were my first boy group. For Limousine, I’d HIGHLY recommend watching a lyric translation of the performance. The lyrics are SO IMPORTANT to this song because it tells their story. The IU Team, I’m so so proud of them and happy they managed to pull off a flawless performance. I think they needed that just as much as we did. They all totally redeemed themselves and proved to everyone that they can sing. It was also fortunate for them that they had someone like I Chan on the team since he also produces music so he was able to guide the other two who don’ have much vocal background. Like yes, it wasn’t the most innovative jaw dropping performance, but it was just so sweet and nice to hear and see them all pull it off.

This style really doesn't suit him and bc of that he looked really goofy while performing it. I also think some boys didn't really want to do this initially bc how cringe the original is. I personally wasn't even aware that they performed remix of that song.

2025-03-15 17:28:15 +0000 UTCOh that was so fun ! Leaving a comment before going back to the episode to talk about the performances. This mission has so many amazing performances. I have to give some flowers to Mnet for the song selection too, love how diverse it was. I just want to comment first on what you said at the end of the video about why Boys Planet is so good. And yes, the number of trainees that really stand out with both skills and their personality/charisma is insane. And I love this mission because it's when we are really able to see it. Because creativity was so important in this round, we were gifted with stuff like Junhyeon and his abs shirt literally calling out Jiwoong with it (that indeed was very much showing his abs again). I'm sorry but this guy is a legend. And like you said it was really good because it came with a really good performance. Or Wumuti and his "Wumuti-ti !!" that kind of went viral too x) and by the way I loved Wumuti there, the sass, the vocals, everything. He really stood out to me on "Zoom", I remember, just after watching it I was like "alright, take my vote!" So' I'm so happy to see in XLOV now ! Another one that joined my top picks with this mission is Taerae. Like you guessed, yes Man in Love was the performance that really was his big push. He was already doing ok (he was 11th at this point from the last elimination) but after this perf', his fancam went viral, like really viral and everyone wanted him in the line-up pretty much. I was waiting to see your reaction to the Law performance too, knowing that you would be really familiar with it, so it was fun. They did amazing. I mean it's a really strong line-up of dancers in this team and it showed. And yes charisma, stage presence facial expressions were on point. All the members were really strong and matched their energy so it's just really pleasing to watch. My favorite performance overall is Tomboy. I mean I'm probably biased because it literally has my top 3 picks from the show. Hanbin, Gunwook and Hao are the three I voted from the first episode to the last. So I was so happy when seeing this team, with Hui in addition, like please that's all I needed x) And they delivered. Even trying to leave out my bias, it was definitely the hardest vocals wise, and it was executed the best too. The rap was really good from Gunwook. I really like that they still added choreography (like yes not for the entire perf' but still) when they didn't have to. It wouldn't have been good if it lowered the level of the vocal/rap parts as it was their mission. But it didn't, so good job to them. The Love Killa was also one of those perf' were all members were really good to the point where it's just really difficult to pick a MVP. Like Seowon's voice is just so good, and fits so well with the song and parts he had. Jiwoong was just born to perform this style of concept. Gyuvin was so powerful with his dancing, and I loved his little smirks and just the way he delivered his performance, and Matthew really showcased his potential with his vocals, and the tone of his voice was just really nice, plus his dancing, and his stability while doing both... Special mention to the Limousine performance also. Outside of Anthony rushing a little bit a the start, the overall perf' was really good. They had a song that was less about "showing off" skills-wise and more about the emotional delivery and they did amazing with that. I really loved Kristian's voice and his delivery, and Jihoo was the MVP for me here, like it's better to have the english translations (and you probably had a better idea of it after watching the rest of the episode). But yep really like this performance overall too. And omg, I'm going to stop here it's already really long sorry. I'm going to watch the rest of the episode now, so thank you, again, for this and have a wonderful day ! :D
